Have you ever wanted to perform an apparently dangerous Russian roulette type of effect with no real danger? Well, now you can!

Here is the effect: A 3" long aluminum spike is shown, and rapped against the table to show that it is solid. While your back is turned, a spectator hides the spike under one of 4 cups. When you turn around, you immediately know where the spike is, even from across the room. You can now smash the cups with your hand, one at at time, then finally lift the last cup to show that the spike is still there. You can remind yourself as often as you want where it is, but here's the best part: you will not get hurt, even if you hit the wrong cup by mistake!
