• You are supplied with the following silks for the Santa Claus
  routine:
• 36" full color Merry Christmas silk
• 36" black & white Merry Christmas outline
• 18" 5 color diagonal stripe silk
• 18" white silk
• 12" white silk
• 12" black silk

You will also need to use a standard change bag.

The routine starts by calling up two children out of the audience. The magi tells a story about writing Santa Claus a letter and asking Santa for a picture of himself. Santa wrote back but said that he ran out of color pictures, so instead he sent me this empty bag (change bag) and said that since I was a magician maybe with the help of the children here at the party today we could do some magic and produce a color picture of Santa.

There is a lot of by play with the children on stage verifying that the bag is empty and then producing black and white silk handkerchiefs. The handkerchiefs are put back into the bag and are changed into a larger black and white Santa. The magi is not satisfied because he wanted a "color picture." The black and white Santa is put back into the bag and a color picture produced. Unfortunately it is a color picture but not Santa. This is put back into the bag and finally a beautiful color picture as shown above is produced.

The bag is once again shown empty.
