This is by far the best mechanical matrix with everyday items. Three cards, and three quarters are placed on a table. The quarters are covered by the cards and one by one as the cards are lifted. The coins vanish and appear under a different card until all the coins are under one card.

You receive a very gimmicked card and a gimmicked coin that make this effect simple to do. Even though the coin and card are gimmicked they appear normal. You can work this effect anywhere and no close-up pad is needed.
