The effect is simple. At anytime in the magician's act he removes a pack of cards from a small wooden box. A card is selected and the spectator shuffles it back into the pack. The magician places the shuffled deck into the box and closes the lid. He says a few magic words and opens the lid. Suddenly the cards come flying out of the box in a giant stream until all of the cards are out except there is one card left standing straight up in the box, it is the spectator's selected card.
