GARRETT THOMAS

Garrett Thomas is a close-up magician based out of the WNY. He is one of the few magicians who actually creates his own magic. Garrett has been performing professionally for over 20 years, regularly appearing all over the United States at both public and private events.

As a magician, Garrett is known for being one of the top card, coin, and ring manipulators; however he is also known as a magician who thinks deeply about the psychology of what is “real” magic. His original effects, extreme technical skills, and keen understanding of human psychology culminate in highly visual, entertaining, and often enlightening routines.

Garrett Thomas’ commitment to the art of magic manifests not only in his performances, but also in his strong commitment to teaching the art of magic to other magicians. Garrett has produced several instructional books and videos on the subjects of coin, card and ring manipulation, creating magical moments, and on the secret to becoming a “real” magician.

It is this combination of imagination and skill that has led Garrett Thomas to become a sought after speaker at international magic conventions, a regular contributor to the bi-monthly video magazine Reel Magic Magazine and a personal instructor / consultant to many other world class magicians such as David Blaine, and Marco Tempest.
