A beautiful stem wine goblet is displayed to the audience. A deck of cards is introduced. A spectator is asked to select a card and return it to the deck. The entire deck of cards is placed in the wine goblet and covered with a silk handkerchief. The spectator is asked to hold on to the entire deck through the silk.
The magician reaches under the silk and removes the glass leaving the spectator with the deck. But wait one card remains in the glass... Of course it is the spectator's selected card.

The sucker trick to end all sucker tricks! A blank deck of cards is shown, and spectator is asked to remove a card. The deck is placed into the spectator's hands for this procedure. Twelve cards are laid into a circle to represent a clock. One of these cards becomes the spectator's.
The spectator's card matches perfectly with a card set aside in an envelope. The envelope has been in full view the entire time. Of course the spectator, when matching up the cards insults you by saying, "But they are all blank". Only then you zap him to reveal that he has chosen the only blue backed blank card in a red backed blank deck. Fully examinable by any spectator.
