STAGE MAGIC
The performer displays an empty bird house, which the audience can see right through There is an empty perch in the middle of the house. The doors to the bird house are closed, and the perch pulled out and shown to be just a simple rod running through the bird house. It is replaced, and when the doors are again opened, a pair of Doves or other small birds appear on the perch.
The effect can be used by itself, or in conjunction with another prop, like a Flip Over Box, where the birds are first vanished, then re-appear in the Dove House.
The Dove House is a large Stage Prop, made in Wood and Metal, handsomely polished, and comes complete with instructions and ideas for use.

PASSÉ-PASSÉ BOTTLES (COMEDY 3 BOTTLE SET)
The performer apparently shows two Cylinders, under one of which is a bottle, and under the other a glass. The magician makes a "Magic pass", and the bottle and glass are found to have changed places, with the bottle now appearing under the Cylinder where the glass was, and vice versa.
This is repeated a number of times and can be played out for a lot of comedy. For example an assistant can be chasing the bottle, and every time he selects a Cylinder, he finds the glass under it, while the bottle appears under the other Cylinder. After a few changes, as the magician is talking to the audience, the assistant creeps up to both the cylinders and "finds the bottle" in one, which she steals away and now smugly asks the magician to "perform the trick again". The magician apparently unaware that the bottle has been stolen away, continues to perform the trick as before, leaving the assistant and the audience doubly amazed.
A very good presentation idea is to show only the glass, after the bottle has been "stolen". You lift off one Cylinder, and show the glass. You do not lift off the other Cylinder and just look a little puzzled. You pretend to bluff the audience stating "here's the glass, so obviously the bottle is in the other tube!" The audience starts howling, asking, you to produce the bottle, which the assistant has stolen! You look embarrassed, and continue with the effect, passing the glass to other Cylinder (without showing bottle), and you'll soon have the entire audience screaming. You finally reveal the bottle under the second cylinder for a funny climax. This is a three bottle set all you need to supply is the martini glasses.

COLOR CHANGING WREATHS (IMPORT)
In this effect the magician displays three white feather wreaths and three different colored silks. One of the white feather wreaths is put in a black cloth bag. The bag has a hole in the center. A red silk is now pushed through the hole in the middle of the bag and the feather wreath is removed. When removed it is found to be colored red. This is repeated with the other two white feather wreaths, transforming them to the two other colors. Finally all the three colored feather wreaths are placed in the bag, and all the three silks pushed through the hole in the center of the bag.
When the feather wreaths are removed, the magician finds nothing has happened, - he still has the three feather wreaths in three different colors. The magician then tosses the three colored feather wreaths into the air, and they visibly and instantaneously transform into a giant tricolor feather wreath, three times as big as the original.
The apparatus we supply comprises of three white feather wreaths three different colored feather wreaths, three different colored silks to match the three feather wreaths, a jumbo tricolor feather wreath and the cloth gimmicked bag. The effect Is totally mechanical In nature, with several color changes, and a visual climax.

This is the classic effect where a "solid silver ball" floats,

DOVE PAN CLASSIC - STAINLESS STEEL
The Magician shows an empty Pan, and drops a piece of flash paper inside. The pan is covered, and when it is opened a live Dove or other similar live stock appears.
This is of course just one possible effect, as the Dove Pan is a classic Magic Prop and several routines and presentation ideas are available in magic books and magazines. You can use it to magically "Bake a Cake" or turn an egg into a chicken, and so on.
The Apparatus supplied is manufactured in seamless heavy gauge stainless steel. The diameter of the load chamber is about nine inches. It is made in a low profile design on a pedestal, which gives the illusion that nothing can be hidden inside. The stainless steel will maintain it's bright sparkling appearance without any care.
HERE ARE A FEW ROUTINES
MAGIC GARDEN: Drop some magic seeds (confetti) into the pan. Then pout some white or red liquid fertilizer into it from your Milk Jug. Cover the pan ( to allow to seeds to germinate and open it. White or red (spring or real) flowers appear inside the pan. If you produce real Roses you can distribute these to the spectators. Spring flowers can create the impression of a much larger volume than the pan could possibly hold.
COOKING AN OMELET: You show an egg, break it and pour the yolk and white in the pan. Then take the broken shell of the egg, show it to the spectators and say, "never throw away the shell, because the real vitamins are in the shell". Put the shell inside the pan. Ignite a piece of paper and say, "usually people apply the heat under the pot, but that is a bad way of applying heat, direct heat is far more efficient". Also place the lit paper inside the pan. Look at the smoke and say, a great part of the vitamins are dissipating in the air with the smoke. We must preserve them with the omelet." Cover the pan and open it after sometime. Produce a small chick or rubber chicken, and say, "so", I should not have applied so much heat, - excess heat hatches the egg to a chicken instead of cooking an omelet
BAKING A CAKE: This is an excellent use of this prop, specialty for Birthday party shows. Call a child to help you with the trick. Show the pan empty. Dress the kid with apron and hat like a chef. Use a long apron and a big hat that keeps dropping over the young assistant's eyes, for some extra laughs. Use a blown egg shell, full of white and yellow confetti. Break the shell and pour the confetti into the pan, calling it a "Dried Egg". You can use other gags, like dropping some spring "flowers" instead of flour in the pan. Add milk from a Milk Jug or Magic Baby feeding bottle, invisible salt, etc. for the ingredients. You can embellish the effect with gags like the Break Away Fan, Break Away Wand etc. in your routine Finally cover the pan and produce the cake.
OTHER PRODUCTIONS: A Ribbon Fountain makes an excellent production from the Dove Pan. You could also use a large Hat Coil, or several large silk streamers, which make a very attractive display as they cascade out of the pan. You could produce several Chinese Lanterns from the Pan. They fold flat, and make a large display when produced. Or you could put in pieces of colored tissue, and produce a variety of paper garlands and decorations for decorating any party.
