The magician holds a cane that is completely lit up in his or her hand. The magician then lets go of the cane and it becomes suspended in midair. The magician then moves his or her hands to the left and the cane follows. He does the same to the right. The magician then can move his or her hand around their body and the cane will follow. It actually dances before the audiences' eyes.
What makes this cane by Juan Mayoral poles apart, or I should say "canes apart" from other dancing canes on the market is that it is completely filled with light. The lights are bright and dazzling and when you "dance" with the cane you get animated moving lights all around the stage. With the house lights completely down and you wearing only white gloves, it makes an awesome "black light" effect.

Attention is drawn to a box on the magician's table where the magician says that he will vanish a live dove. The magician opens the box and places the dove into the box and closes the door. The magician acts as if he has not practiced this item. He seems to be at a loss as to what to do next. A wave of a wand and he then takes the box apart and shows it to the audience piece by piece. When he gets to the last part it is obvious to the audience that there is still a live dove inside. A feather of the dove seems to be caught in the box and is "peeking" out and moving around.
The magician seems to be embarrassed but eventually turns the last piece around only to reveal that artificial feathers are stuck to a spring which the magician has been moving around. This is a very funny routine that really takes the "gotcha" principle to the epitome.

Borrow a spectator's hat. Mix ingredients for making a cake in a clear plastic bowl - flour, milk, eggs, etc. Show pan empty and pour in the sticky mixture. Look around for a stove or fireplace to bake the cake, None is available, so take the empty hat, start a fire in it and place the pan on fire to bake the cake! Extinguish the fire, return the borrowed hat, unharmed, remove the lid and produce a baked cake. The Welsh Rarebit Pan has been unobtainable for many years, thus it comes out fresh and new to modern day and younger audiences.

This is an extremely effective mini illusion, easy to carry, and perform, and guaranteed to make a big impact on any audience. Beside the apparatus supplied, you require a trained assistant who has rehearsed this, for maximum impact. A lady assistant would add a touch of glamour to the effect, and the effect could be performed with the magician in the contraption, and the assistant operating the "twister".
The performer places a frame with a box on top over the assistant's shoulder. On top of the frame is a box large enough to cover the head, with a cut out front, so that the head is clearly visible. The head is clamped into the box, and the box turned slowly, twisting the head with it. It is turned right around, and you have a perfect illusion of the head being twisted completely around with the box. This is then twisted back in the opposite direction, apparently to screw the head back right. Finally everything is removed and displayed freely, and your assistant is completely unharmed.
