ELECTRONIC CANDLE by EL DUCO

This candle is designed to be used with a silk gun. On the table is a candle stick with a candle in it. You light the candle and then walk across the stage where you have your pistol. A silk is placed on the pistol and then the gun is fired. At the exact moment that the gun is fired the silk handkerchief seemingly flies with the bullet across the stage and appears tied around the candle.

This is a precision piece of electronic magic made in Sweden by El Duco. It is sound activated so you need no assistant. It is an effect that will be the hallmark of your stage show. It is easy to do and has sure-fire electronics, which control the apparatus.

An elegant pedestal is standing on the table. On top of the pedestal is a glass with a silk. You pick up the glass, show it empty and place it back on the pedestal. The silk is loaded into the pistol. At a distance of 3 - 4 meters, you aim at the empty glass. BANG! Faster then you twinkle; the silk vanishes and appears in the glass! It looks fantastic! Pick up the silk and show it to the audience.

This is an electronic and mechanical unit that is designed to be used with a Silk Gun. It is very easy to perform and has a mesmerizing effect on an audience. . It is sound activated so you need no assistant. Besides the "Silk in Glass" routine described above, the effect comes with a "Bill in Apple" routine where a selected bill is shot into the center of an apple that has not been peeled.

This is one of the best silk pistols on the market today. It is safe and practical to handle. With this pistol you can shoot both cards, bills (money) and silks. That gives you a lot of possibilities to incorporate this item into your stage act. This pistol works with plastic caps available at any toy store. It will handle a twelve-inch silk or a standard size card or bill.

You can shoot a silk into a glass or a card or bill into a piece of fruit with the Electronic Glass Pedestal. You can vanish a card and make it appear in a sealed envelope. This is the classic Tip Over Production Box, in the form of an attractive "Treasure Chest." A beautiful prop that will enhance any magic act. Call it a Treasure Chest from the Arabian Nights, or Blackbeard the Pirate's Treasure Chest, or whatever you fancy.

Show the box completely empty. Cast your magic spell and produce what you will from the chest. "Silks, Doubloons and Pieces of Eight, Flags and Flowers, even Doves or a baby Rabbit. Show the chest empty after the production, then cast your magic spell again, and make yet another production. The chest will hold a truly enormous amount of production items.

Working the Tip Over Box should be familiar to most magicians. The chest appears completely empty when shown to the audience. Turn it upright, open the cover, and make your production from the chest. You can tip over the chest at any time during the production to show it empty again, then turn it upright and continue with the production.

You can even lift the chest up after it is loaded. An assistant could walk in with the chest, held by the handles on the sides, and place it on the table for you. Or you could pick it up from a side table, and place it on the center table to perform the effect. This re-enforces the illusion that there is nothing under the chest, and is better than leaving it fixed in a particular place.

One of the best features of the Tip Over Box is that there is no apparent hiding place for the load. The depth of the box when shown empty is exactly what you would expect in an empty box of this size. You can subtly re-enforce this illusion, by using a magic wand to tap the box on the outside, and the inside walls and bottom to show empty. You apparently tap the box on the outside to show it is a solid box, and wave the wand on the inside, taping the sides and bottom when you show it empty.

You may choose to carry your complete act in the chest, show it empty, perform an effect, replace the prop, show chest empty again, produce another prop for another effect and so on.
