This vanish can be done surrounded, anywhere, anytime. There is no set-up and the vanish is fool-proof. A box which is open both front and top and can even be handed out for examination. A spectator is asked to place a pair of doves, a rabbit or other small animal in the chest. A front panel is placed into the box to hide the livestock. A large dagger is pushed through the center of the box and the front panel is removed. The box is now shown to be empty except for the sword.

MILK AND WATER SEPARATION by SAM DALAL
This effect is an extremely old one, and makes a highly visual and effective magic routine. Sam has redesigned the props to give you a smart and attractive outfit which you will be proud to use in your act.
The performer displays a bottle, and two opaque covers resting on a tray. The bottle is empty. When the covers are lifted up, under them are two glasses, one full of milk, and the other fall of water. The contents of both the glasses are poured into the bottle, mixing the milk and water. The two empty glasses are then covered again by the two empty covers. The performer now makes magical gestures, and the milk and water in the bottle visibly diminishes.
When the bottle is completely empty, the two covers are lifted off the two glasses. And it is seen that one glass is full of milk, and the other full of water, the liquids having magically evaporated from the bottle, and reappeared separately in the two glasses.
