FIVE ROPE REPEAT (ORIGINAL)

Originated by Hen Fetsch and produced by Gene Gordon. Not an import but made by me from Georgia rope. Very easy to do and comes ready to perform with two routines. All the original patter and drawings!! This is a classic.

JADOO-WALLAH

The performer explains that he has in his possession a type of type of magic wand used by the street fakirs of India, the Jadoo-Wallah. He produces the stick. It is a wand made of wood, about 10 inches long. The wand is capped at each end with two carved pieces. The wand can be handed out for examination. Also shown is a 48 inch length of twisted satin cord. The cord is also shown to be ungimmicked. The cord is taken, and wrapped several times around the centre of the wand. The ends of the wand are held by a spectator, and another spectator can pull on the ends of the cord to verify they really are wrapped tightly around it. The performer approaches the wand. Without touching the wand with his hands, he breathes on it and whispers the magic incantation "JADOO-WALLAH". Instantly the cords melt off the wand, unwind, and fall to the floor! All can be examined!

The effect comes with the Jadoo-Wallah stick (about 12 inches long in total), the 48 inch long satin cord, gimmick, and instructions.

ROPE THRU THE NECK

This is a simple yet effective illusion using a unique red rope. The rope appears to be placed behind the magician's neck and the ends remain in sight in front of the audience. A quick tug of the rope ends, and the rope from behind the neck visibly is seen in front. This is not just a plain piece of rope but a unique gimmick to accomplish the illusion.

BAVARIAN LINKING ROPES

Three pieces of rope are knotted into three separate rope rings. The rings are magically linked, and then two of the rings meld into a large ring. The small ring is unlinked from the large one, and magically you have three separate equal size rings again! The rings magically transform into three lengths of small rope tied together. The knots are blown away, leaving you with a long piece of rope.

The effect comes ready to use.
