CHAMELEON KNOTS (IN ROPE) by PAVEL
In
a two-tone rope, half red and half white, the magician ties two knots, one red
and one white. Passing the fingers of a hand along the rope the knots tied in
both halves change colors. The red knot is seen in the white part and the white
knot is in the red part. The effect is immediately repeated. The knots change to
their original colors and are finally untied.
The
performer introduces another red and white length of rope. He ties the red end
of one rope to the white end of the other rope. Some magic passes... suddenly
both red ends of the ropes are firmly tied together. For a repeat the performer
reties the ropes, a red end to a white end again. In a flash the two white ends
of the ropes are tied together!

SUPER WALKING KNOT (SIMPLIFIED) by PAVEL
A piece of rope some 6 yards in length is tied between the backs of two chairs. The performer cuts the rope in the middle. The two rope ends fall free onto the floor. The performer picks up the ends and ties them together.
Now the performer seizes the knot and slides it along the rope toward the left-hand chair. He stops a couple of feet from the chair and unties the knot at this new position! Two pieces of rope are seen...one in each hand.
Retying the knot, the performer slides it to the right side chair and
stopping just short of the chair he again unties the knot and separates the
rope!
To finish the performer again ties the rope ends together. He slides the knot to
the center of the rope. He then covers the knot with both hands and by stroking
the rope makes the knot disappear! The rope is completely restored!

He then removes the third rope and it is seen to have a knot (and the spectator can UNTIE it!).
