ROPE MAGIC
JUNIOR WALKING KNOT by PAVEL
Super Walking Knot needs no introduction. This trick, winner of the FISM 1982 Prize Award, has existed in two versions: PROFESSIONAL and SIMPLIFIED. Both versions use a six-yard length of rope. It is readily apparent that such a length of rope, tied between two chairs, needs a large stage and can only be performed under such conditions. This has not been good for all magicians.
This version called Junior Walking Knot uses a two-yard length of rope. It is thereby easier to handle and will satisfy any and all fans of Rope Magic. It can be performed everywhere and under close-up conditions.
The magi displays a length of rope and cuts it into 2 parts near one end. The 2 pieces are tied together. The knot is moved to the center by sliding. The magi unties the knot at this point, shows 2 pieces, ties it, and moves it again to the other near end and unties it there. Wild!

This is a very deluxe version of E. J. Moores classic linking Ropes Routine! Three premium lengths of rope are freely displayed! The ends of each are tied forming three rings of rope. Mysteriously, the rope rings link and unlink together just like their metal counterparts! Another great and quality effect from Germany!

A length of rope is passed out for examination. A spectator is then asked to cut the rope in half at the center with a pair of scissors. With a few clever moves, the magician restores the rope to one piece and again offers it for examination. A startling effect but simple to do.

Linking ropes is one of my all time favorite effects. This takes Linking Ropes one step further. Three lengths of rope, red, white and blue are freely displayed. With the help of a spectator, the three ropes are tied into loops. Believe it or not, quick as a wink, you are able to link and unlink the loops.
This effect lends itself to literally hundreds of patter possibilities and only serves to improve your reputation as a sleight of hand artist. It is very easy to perform and can be performed stage or parlor.

Now from India, this
popular with the audience rope effect, made famous by that fine magician Hen Fetsch
is available in a very affordable version. If you are familiar with "Six
Card Repeat’” with a similar audience-pleasing plot, you will appreciate how
much your spectators will like this fine variation. And unlike the cards, whose
quantity in your left hand is always a little uncertain to the viewers, despite
the repeated counts, with the five ropes you clearly show that there are always
only five separate ropes! Here's one casual presentation among the several you
can use that will thoroughly please those watching this fine trick.
"Have I got a trick for you! Done with just four short ropes. Wait till you see this! There are 1-2-3-4-oops!-5 ropes. Excuse me, I'll put the extra one in my pocket. Now watch!…” And five ropes keep appearing. You'll be sure to use it either as an amusing MC bit, or a wonderful change of pace in your show.
