ROPE MAGIC
This is one of my all time favorite effects. Three lengths of rope are freely displayed and with the help of a spectator or two the ropes are tied into loops. Believe it or not, quick as a wink you are able to link and unlink the loops. This effect lends itself to literally hundreds of patter possibilities and only serves to improve your reputation as a sleight of hand artist. It is very easy to perform and can be performed stage or parlor.

JUMPING SILK MH by MAGIC HANDS
You make three knots with equal distances between them on a rope. A silk is tightly bound into the top knot. It can be examined by a spectator. A short movement--the silk jumps visibly from the top knot down to the center knot.

The magician displays a piece of rope about 24" long which he claims, is a piece of the famous "Indian Rope Trick". The rope is held at one end, and the other end held up. When the end is let go, the rope falls down, just like a normal rope. This is repeated once or twice. Then the rope magically stays upright. The magician states that the "Indian Rope Trick" is only a figment of the imagination, which in fact does not exist. "Even the rope doe not exist," the magician exclaims as he transforms it into a United States flag. The flag is freely shown on both sides.
