In this effect by Cosmo Solano a small spread of five cards is shown, the black 2's and 3's, along with the Ace of Hearts. The spectator is asked to try and "clip" the only red card, the Ace of Hearts, with a paper clip. They try and try but to no avail!
Finally, to make it easier you separate the Ace from the four black cards, allow them to clip it, they can see the face to be sure! The card with the clip still on, is set on the table.
With no moves, no sleights, no counts, etc... The clipped card on the table is slowly turned over and shown to now be the 2 of clubs!
Where's the Ace? The real question is "Which ace?" because in your hand are not one, but four aces of hearts!

Using a die and four Jumbo cards a spectator selects a card among those four. That card is the only one with the words PICK ME on its back (or the name of the spectator, Happy Birthday, your phone number, etc).

This is David Solomon’s favorite packet trick. It has multiple climaxes and easy patter possibilities. A blank Bicycle card is placed aside. Four Jokers are shown to have blank backs. One by one the magician prints colorful backs on them. After all four backs are printed, the magician magically causes all of the Joker faces to vanish and all four of them appear together on the blank Bicycle card.

Henry Evans presents a new effect from his line Classics with a Twist. Imagine being able to perform one of the strongest card effects, a real classic in card magic, but with an original approach suitable for stand up magic.
In this effect by Merpin a card is selected and after the magician fails to guess it. He tears it into pieces, while he says, "I must confess this has already happened to me other times," showing a transparent bag filled with card pieces. After the audience erupts into laughter, the magician gives a spectator one piece to hold. The other ones are put in the bag together with the other dozens of pieces. The performer says there is one possible solution, he takes a transparent glass and puts it in the bag, taking it out full of card pieces; covering it with a silk and with a magic gesture, once the silk is removed all pieces have vanished from the glass except one card. It is the restored card! And of course one piece is missing, the one which the spectator has been holding and now perfectly matches the selection. In the end, both glass and bag can be examined.
With this great presentation of the effect, you can amaze and amuse any parlor show's audience. It is fun and original and keeps the strength of the original classic.
