Three spectators are brought on stage and invited to take a traditional Chinese meal in a way they used to do thousands of years ago...
You explain that the ancient Chinese were great mathematicians and believers in numerology. Often numbers were used to help make even the most mundane of choices. Why else would all the items on a Chinese menu be numbered? Hence you explain that you are going to show them how the ancient Chinese would decide what to do when going out for a meal.
One of the spectators is given a small packet of plastic number cards to shuffle. They now choose one person who will be in charge of the menu, while the other two are in charge of setting the amount they will pay for the meal.
The menu is shown as representing the restaurant they will visit. The three spectators are given three cards each and two of them take turns to make up three two-digit numbers.
These two digit numbers are added together to arrive at a total and a decimal point is added to form a price to spend on the meal - but alas! It is incredibly low! 1.65! The prospect of a good meal does not look hopeful!
The third spectator now adds up his three cards to come up with a number, to represent a dish on the menu. When they check out the menu they see that all other menu items are normal, however item number 15 is an "Eat as much as you like buffet for three people, cost - 1.65."

Two refill pads (60 uses) for Mental Board. The magician tears a sheet of paper out of a notebook and places it on the clipboard. He hands over a clipboard and pen to the spectator and turns around. He then asks the spectator to write any word or mark, to fold the paper in half and then hold the paper in their hand. The magician takes back the clipboard and the pen from the spectator, then takes a sheet of paper from the notebook and places it on the clipboard. The magician writes his prediction . Finally, the spectator opens the paper, and both are the same!

You display a glass bowl filled with over two dozen matchbooks from hotels around the country. You also show a hotel key card which is placed face down on the table. The key stays in full view the entire time. The spectator randomly removes matchbooks from the glass bowl, one at a time, and stops on any one they choose. They turn the key over and both are a PERFECT MATCH!

Memento by Daniel Madison, is a special deck of cards that brings a myriad of performance possibilities to a range of performers from card magicians to mentalists.
The effect comes with a routine that explores the darker side of psychology and the paranormal as you take your spectators on a journey into clairvoyance and the reality of the afterlife. A deck of cards is introduced and held by the spectator. It is told that the performers' aunt worked as a clairvoyant and that a few days before her unfortunate death, she had signed her name across her favorite playing card within the very deck held by the spectator.
The spectator is then asked to think hard and to try to pick up which card in the deck is signed by the deceased aunt. Upon naming the card, the deck is spread and the thought of card is then found to be the only card in the deck with the signature of the performers' deceased aunt. Any card can be named and all other cards are shown to be blank.
The deck comes with many more performance ideas and these are limited only by your own imagination. Comes complete with a deck of cards and 8-page Saddle Stitched Instruction Manual.
