During those years, he met and broke bread with literally hundreds of hand muckers, machine men, bust-out men, steers, front-men, spot finders, two-dealers, cellar-dealers, spreaders, cold-deckers, run-up men, check coppers, paper-players, painters, scratch players, slick sleeve and bean shooter players from Portland, Maine south to Miami Beach, Florida, west to California and north to Alaska.

Tony Giorgio played cards across the United States, on the Canadian prairies, in Cuba before the revolution and in the cantinas of Mexican border towns. He .moved. in private clubs, private games, floating games, athletic clubs, poolrooms, card rooms and casinos. He moved on the unsophisticated and the sophisticated.

Giorgio played poker with the hoi-polloi, blue collar workers, rodeo riders and cowboys in Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming and Arizona; with miners in Montana, longshoremen with grappling hooks in their belts and New Orleans pimps sporting pearl-handled pistols. He played in limit-games for pocket change and in games played for high stakes. During his travels and play, he learned from the top hold-out men in the world and invented and used many of his own moves which he now reveals.

In these DVDs, which run over two hours, Giorgio demonstrates and teaches the Machine Break and his many original variations. He shows never before exposed card-steals. The magician hands a large metal ring (of approx. 18"/ 45cm in diameter) to the audience for inspection. His hands are empty. A spectator puts an object of his choice on the table. Holding the ring with both hands, the performer moves it over the object (Fig.1), then lifts the ring. As the ring is lifted, the object is lifted along with it, floating in the centre of the ring (Fig.2). The magician can turn the ring in any direction he wishes; holding it by his mere fingertips, he can even turn the ring around the object (Fig.3) - the object is floating freely in the air.

Note that the magician's hands are always empty! He doesn't pick up any aids, so he doesn't have to secretly put any away! He can float any object as often as he likes (and, of course, not only things borrowed from the audience, but also anything of his own, such as a large ball, a glass, a bottle with liquid - in other words, anything that isn't very heavy). The ring and the objects are completely unprepared, and can be examined at any time! No wires, ring pullers, magnets or that sort of thing! This is performable before surrounding audiences, at a distance of 7 feet/ 2m. No training required!

This is an instructional card magic DVD featuring routines that have won Brian Tudor International recognition as one of the leading card manipulators in the world. There are no camera tricks and everything is shown at actual speed.

Prepare yourself. You're going to have to watch each explanation hundreds of times before you start to get it. You'll have to practice even more before it looks good in your hands.
