TELEMENTAL

telemental.jpg (11296 bytes)

The magician displays four laminated plaques each bearing an assortment of various ESP symbols. Four spectators are asked to mentally select and remember a symbol. The magician correctly reveals all four selected symbols! Very easy to do, yet extremely baffling. The plaques can be carried in your inside jacket pocket, and are very visible. Great for strolling, table-hopping or parlor.

DIVIDE & CONQUER by MEIR YEDID

A large envelope containing a prediction is placed in full view as two spectators select a card. The premise is simple, you state that within the envelope are two predictions, the first is the same suit but one-half the value of the first spectator’s card and the second prediction is double the value of the second spectator’s card.

In a loud clear voice, the first spectator is asked to name his card. It is the ten of spades, which means that your prediction should be the five of spades. Open the envelope and remove a giant (7’’x 11’’) five of spades.

Turn to the second spectator and ask him to name his card--to everyone’s shock, he yells out the seven of clubs. This always gets a huge laugh since there is no such card as the fourteen of clubs. Just when everyone thinks you made a mistake, the giant card is turned over to show your prediction--the fourteen of clubs. Suitable for stage, parlor, close-up and perfect for emcees. Very easy.

THE PERFECT CLIP-BOARD

perfectclipboard.jpg (7524 bytes)

The performer asks of a spectator (before the show starts) to think of a design or picture. He then asks the spectator to draw his thoughts on a piece of paper, given to him by the performer. The spectator is doing that while the performer leaves the room, or stands in a place where he cannot view. The spectator is asked to fold the paper and keep it in his pocket during the act.

During the show, the performer says that he asked the spectator to think of a design and then to draw it on a piece of paper, which he hasn't seen. He then asks the spectator to join him on stage and confirm that the performer didn't see his drawing. The performer then takes another paper, and starts dramatically drawing a design. The design drawn by the performer matches the spectator's!

The clipboard is the most common and useful prop for the working mentalist. With this item, you can perform mind reading effects that will blow your audiences' minds - giving the impression that you are capable of penetrating their thoughts. There are few clipboards on the market, and they are all for the same goal - getting the information from your spectator without him noticing. The Perfect clipboard is quite different from all others due to its new design and idea.

Several different effects and routines are included along with the instructions. This is an amazingly versatile mental effect!

GYPSY PICTURE FRAME

This is by far one of the most versatile effects we have ever seen.  It is actually a large flip wallet which measures seven by nine inches.  You can place into it pictures, jumbo cards, virtually anything you want that is flat and will fit the frame.

My favorite effect with this is to show a witch with a large crystal ball which appears empty.  I take the spectator on a magical tour of Europe.  When we get to France, I have them think of Paris and steer them towards selecting the Eiffel Tower.  When they open the frame, inside the crystal ball will be a picture of the Eiffel Tower.

This, and many other pictures, come with the apparatus however we know that you will want to customize this effect to your act.

BLINDSIGHT

One of the most talked about effects at the 2006 Mindvention. It virtually fooled anyone who saw it.

This is the very latest from Devin Knight's Psychic-Sight series. The first was Farsight and was a runaway hit. Now comes Blindsight.

In the effect the performer patters that Blindsight is the apparent ability to see colors and shapes which cannot be seen. You offer a simple experiment. You introduce 4 ungimmicked colored cards: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. These in turn are sealed into 4 opaque envelopes and mixed so that the spectator doesn't know which color is in which envelope. You ask him to point to any envelope. This is a free choice, no magician's force of any kind. You hold it up and ask him what color he thinks is inside. Assume he says Blue. You write "Blue" on the envelope. This is repeated 3 more times with the person freely pointing to any of the remaining envelopes. Each time he states the color he thinks is inside and the performer writes it on the envelope.

Performer fans the envelopes out allowing the person to see the names written on each envelope. Magician states he only needs three envelopes for the first part and for the person to remove one envelope and place it off to the side. Let's assume he discards the envelope with the word Yellow written on it.

The other three envelopes are opened one at a time, the spectator has correctly guess what colors were in each envelope. This is pretty amazing in itself but the kicker is still to come.

Magician says nobody could have known what envelope the spectator would discard off to the side. The spectator, NOT THE MAGICIAN, picks up this envelope and opens it. Of course the correct color card is in it, but wait; there is a slip of paper in it and it reads: "THE YELLOW ENVELOPE WILL BE THE ONE YOU DISCARD!"

The magician can then show the other envelopes are empty, in fact all the envelopes can be examined.

Here are the facts

Nothing secretly added or taken away.
Color cards are not gimmicked in anyway.
Only 4 cards are used.

The choices are completely free. As clean as it gets. The handling is designed in such a way that spectators and magicians will be unable to backtrack and discover the method.

This is another reputation maker that is priced way too low. Complete with color cards, envelopes, marker and all needed gimmicks to make this work.
