Robert Harbin first conceived of the Tippler decades ago. With modern technology it has been brought up to date. A very common looking piece of 8" long 2" x 2" fir is passed out for inspection. It is undoubtedly just a piece of solid wood. A story is told of a haunted house and you explain that this is a haunted timber from that house. The block is balanced on top of a bottle, the performer concentrates and the block tumbles from its perch. Once again, all is inspected. The performer now leans the block against the side of a bottle. After some concentration, the block tips over the opposite direction from which it was leaning. Is it spirits or telekinesis? A magician visibly sets his wristwatch at a time that will be his prediction. Then he asks a spectator to tell a Specific time; a significant moment in his life, like the time of his birth. He then shows the watch and the hands are pointing at the shows the time the spectator has mentioned.
This watch is the result of a fine watch maker who created and produced it Argentina. It is based upon an idea created in the early 1980s by the talented British magician Mr. Trevor Lewis. Its first and only prototype worked through a more complex and different mechanism than Watch & Wear. After being presented by its creator in several lectures both in Great Britain and the United States, it gave origin to many similar effects. Today, after a long process of research and development, this idea was brought to a technical level that Mr. Lewis himself defines as his "dream turned into reality'.

This prop is absolutely new and revolutionary. The effect surprises not only the spectator but also the performer. You take a deck of cards and explain to the spectator that you will write the name of a card he will choose some minutes later. You write something on a piece of paper and you leave it on the table but don't show it yet. Then you explain that what you really do is not to guess the chosen card but travel to the future, see the card and then come back to the present to write its name on the paper.
After that explanation, tell the spectator that the only way to check what you have said is with a watch. Ask him for his wristwatch. Have him remember the exact time at that very moment and, holding the watch only by the strap, leave it on the card case and have the spectator choose a card.
The spectator puts his selected card away in his pocket and you explain that now you are both going into the future. After a brief trip you tell the spectator that you both have to come back to the present.
Have the spectator show the paper with the prediction it will have the name of the chosen card. Continue explaining that there is only one way to prove that you did travel to the future to do the effect. Take the watch very gently and give it back to the spectator to check the time.
To everyone's surprise the watch is two or three hours forward! Remember the watch was never out of anyone's site and you never touched anything but the strap of the watch!
