The magi removes a small stack of cards from a deck and has a spectator select one. The selection is returned and the cards are mixed. They are dealt clockwise around the pack. A needle is inserted into a small hole in the pack and a pencil is balanced on the needle to make like the hands of a clock.
The magi has the spectator concentrate on their selection. The pencil starts to rotate of its own accord and starts spinning faster and faster, in a most uncanny fashion. It appears that the pencil might take off it spins so fast! The magician remains motionless during this phase of the presentation. The movement is unexplainable.
Eventually the pencil slows down and comes to rest upon one card. The spectator is asked to name his selection out loud. The card is turned over and revealed to be the selected card.

To start, you show the various illustrations printed on your T-shirt. You explain that you will use those illustrations to play a picture association game. In order to select two pictures at random, you ask a spectator to name any number. You place your finger at the starting point on your T-shirt, and count exactly that number, both clockwise and counter-clockwise. After landing on two random pictures, you ask your spectator to mentally create a new picture that combines both elements.
When you turn around, your spectator will be surprised to find that the precise image that he freely thought of is printed on the back of your shirt!
