This is a very versatile piece of equipment that can be put to many uses. The performer cleans off both sides of a slate with a damp sponge. The slate is set to the side for a moment. Upon checking it later, a message has appeared.
There are so many different effects that can be done with this special chalk that I will only mention a few and leave the rest to your imagination. A child's name and birthday message magically appears on the empty slate. A selected card appears on the slate. A predicted number or name appears on the slate magically.
This is a special chemically treated chalk and although no fire is used you must use lighter fluid. Because of this we don't knowingly sell this item to children. Any slate works with this effect.

A small plastic box with THREE BUTTONS is shown. You explain that only one of the buttons lights the light. You now demonstrate this to your spectators. NOW THE FUN BEGINS. No matter which two buttons the spectator chooses the magician will make only the other button to work.

In the effect a pocket watch is removed from the pocket and shown. It keeps excellent time and you explain that it belonged to your grandfather. You also explain that the watch can read minds, as you pull out the stem and set a random time. The spectator is asked to think about a time in their life that has special meaning to them. Now without any fumbling, you show that the watch is set to that exact time!

A brass container, lid, and five colored chips are presented. With the performer's back turned, the spectator is asked to select a chip, remember it's color and place it into the container. The spectator is also asked to screw on the lid and hide the remaining four chips in his or her hand. The performer then turns around, not being able to see inside the container or into the spectator's hand. The performer tells the spectator his or her selected color. Impossible, you say...
