MENTALISM
This is an outfit of miniature Spirit slates. The slates are made from polished teak. The flaps are made from textured plastic coated card, and can be easily palmed like normal playing cards.
The outfit supplied by us consists of:
(1) A pair of matched mini slates.
(2) Two full black plastic flaps.
(3) One plastic flap, with a small quarter circle cut out.
(4) A few black plastic self-adhesive "stickers" to use with your own pack of cards. These can be easily pasted onto the face or back of a playing card, after peeling off the backing paper. They can then be trimmed to give a special flap with a playing card face or back on one side, and a slate surface on the opposite side.
You will also require a regular Deck of Cards. The best way to learn to use these slates is to learn a few routines. We give you a number of excellent routines to start with. One or two will catch your fancy. You can then learn the others and make up your own. Can be used as a mental prediction of a word, card prediction, and many other uses.

Five marbles are introduced from a beautiful velvet bag. You draw attention to one of the marbles being different and special. The marbles are replaced in the bag. Five spectators, one at a time, are asked to pick a marble from the bag. They are asked not to show the marble to the magi as they pull it from the bag. The marble is kept secretly in their hands and not looked at.
The magi can instantly tell which spectator holds the special marble. This is very baffling and can be repeated without any set-up.

TEL'S BELLS by TERRY HERBERT
This is a killer comedy bit! You ring a beautiful hand made bell , when you give it out to a spectator ... he will ring but there will be no sound!
This marvelous mechanical brass bell can be slotted into lots of programs and there are a few ideas for any kind of comedy show. The basic idea is neat , you take a bell and ring it , then when you give it to someone else, they will try to ring it but with NO SOUND. A classical comedy bit from the British magic comedian Terry Herbert. This is so funny, your audience will cry.

For children - before a birthday party , you ask the child to get all his /her friends to settle down , and to act like their teacher at school when they ring the bell to get attention. You ring the bell to show him how to do it , then give him the bell to ring to get everyone's attention. Of course when he rings the is no sound... a little louder you ask and take it from him and demonstrate.
For adults - You show the bell to an adult man telling him that this bell has been developed to check how many strong his hormones are. You tell him the more the bell rings the healthier his hormones are. You of course ring the bell out loud and when you give it to the spectator, he tries and no sound comes from the bell!
Three bell Monte effect - A bit pricey because you need three bells, but what an effect! Many other great ideas included!

In this effect by Peter Nardi a packet of cards is shown - each bears a picture of a perfume bottle. All of them are different and the backs of the cards are blank to preclude them being marked. The cards are mixed and a lady chooses one while the performer’s head is turned. She rubs the card on her wrist and then Places it out of sight. The performer turns back towards the lady and by delicately smelling her wrist identifies the scent she chose!
The cards may be thoroughly examined and no one will find (or sniff!) a thing. The effect may be immediately repeated with a different selection. As well as the beautifully produced cards, the instant reset and strong emotional hook makes this effect ideal for the walk-around or restaurant performer.

A spectator selects a book, turns to any random page, and picks a word he or she desires. You then amaze your spectator when you correctly predict the word they were thinking of!
