PREDICTION CALCULATOR

incalcalculator.gif (4742 bytes)

After making a prediction on a piece of paper, the mentalist either borrows or introduces a calculator to be used in an experiment. After "blindfolding" the display area of the calculator, spectators are asked to program in random numbers calculations of their choice. When they are satisfied that they have made enough calculations, a spectator is instructed to press the "equal" sign and read aloud the total printed in the display area of the calculator. THE NUMBERS MATCH YOUR PREDICTION.

Why is this a miracle? First, I said that you could use a borrowed calculator however we include a calculator, which is not gimmicked. Second, the spectators can perform any number of calculations. Third, the spectators can perform any type of calculations, plus, minus, divide, square root, etc. Even if you do no mentalism in your act you will enjoy performing this fantastic effect.

ITEM # C 012 PRICE $35.00

TIME-HEX HEX-CLOCK-TO-GONE

You show a clear plastic, eight-sided (yep! octagonal) disc, with numbers from 1 to 10 circling it in a clock-like fashion and a rotating single pointer arm fixed to the center of the disc. The way many of us at Daytona Magic like to present it is to ask a young man to imagine any girl of his acquaintance, whether beautiful, medium, or plain, and then to give her a rating on a scale of 10 (as in the Bo Derek movie, of course). He is then to hide the dial from the performer while he rotates the pointer from its straight-up position to the number he chooses for his rating and then rotates it back to the straight-up position. The spectator returns the dial to you, and with suitable mysterious presentation ("heart vibrations," "brain waves," whatever), you reveal the number!

If you like, you may call it a clock dial with just 10 hours! ("Two hours off for coffee breaks," or "I work a 10-hour day," etc.) You then work out your patter from there. Any way you do it, it will be great ! Whether you favor mysterious magic, mirth, or mind-boggling mentalism, your audiences will love it. Remember, the number is not forced, and it is lightweight, easy to carry, and big enough for platform use.

ITEM # P 018 PRICE $25.00

WONDER CLOCK

A door is slid open revealing a clock face and small dial. Attached to the dial is a knob that allows the dial to be set to any of the hours on the clock face. Stepping aside with your back turned away you request that the spectator select an hour of the day and turn the dial to that hour. The spectator then closes the door which completely covers the clock face. (There is no way to see the clock face once the door is closed.) Without having to see the clock face, you instantly reveal the selected time!

The Wonder Clock stands 2.2 inches tall to fit nicely in the palm of your hand. The Wonder Clock is hand crafted to precision and is a limited production piece.

ITEM #F 059C PRICE $30.00

WONDER LUCKY ENVELOPES

Six small envelopes with no. 1 2 3 4 5 6 are shown. The performer puts a bill into one of the envelopes secretly. You invite a spectator to throw out a dice on the table; each time the top number of dice matches the number of one of the envelopes, that envelope is placed aside. For example, if the dice is five, the fifth envelope is to be taken away. The spectator is told he will get the contents of the last envelope.

Keep doing it until one envelope remains. Surprise! Only the LAST envelope contains money!

ITEM # FF021 PRICE $3.00

BLACK TIME MACHINE

It tells time, maintains a stealth profile, and can go to the exact time your spectator predicts! You show the current time to a spectator, remove the watch, and change the time to your "prediction". With the watch face turned away from the spectator, you ask the spectator to name any time. After the spectator names his or her time, the Black Time Machine is turned around showing the exact same time as the spectator's!
