WHO IS JOSEPH YOUNG

Joseph Young is not your ordinary entertainer. He is quickly emerging as one of the hottest rising entertainers in the nation performing his award-winning programs for various events using his special blend of magic, comedy, and audience participation. An entertainer needs a specialty, something to set him apart from others, says Joseph Young. Young found his in a puzzle toy made popular in the1980s.

The Big Stone Gap, Virginia resident began performing magic professionally in 1996. Early on, he incorporated the Rubik's Cube puzzle as one of many items subject to his sleight-of-hand. For anyone who doesn't remember, it's a cube with nine colored squares on each side. The trick is to take a cube with scrambled colors and see how fast you can twist and turn the squares until the colors become uniform. Joseph’s Rubik Cube is much more that a trick, it is an entire seven minute manipulation act that Rubik's Cube disappears, appear, change sizes, and a few other surprises that happen in the blink of an eye. You simply have to see it in person to believe it.
