Fukai has a stellar career, which started as an amateur in the 1970’s His first stage (debut) was at a graduation ceremony of an elementary school. He performed in amateur participations on TV in Japan. He was chairman of Kinki University of Kansai student magician association and received first place in all three sections in the United States in 1978. His professional career started in the early eighty’s. We have listed some of the highlights of his career below.
1981 - Guest performance in United States at the PCAM and other world performances.
1982 - Performed for NHK "Magic Show" and other world performances.
1984 - Guest performances at New York world convention, Magic Castle of Los Angeles, California, USA and other world performances.
1985 - Guest performances in the United States at the Kansas IBM world convention and FISM European convention of Magic. Prizewinning performance is telecasted by NHK "Magic show in the world". TV special performance at popular program in Spain "Uno dos tres".
1986 - Guest performance at the German world convention, TBS "Super-Magic show", "Serious night performance" at KTV. Guest performs at the British world convention. First performer for the "Paul Daniels show" of London as a Japanese magician. Chosen as the best international magician of the year 1986.
1987 - The Long Beach convention is telecasted by NHK, "Magic show in the world" where Fukai was the featured act. Performed at the British world convention. Fukai was praised as the "Original Magician who has never been seen before." Performance tour in various places in the US including Las Vegas during July-August. Performed for local TV and at a New York encore in autumn of the year.
1988 - Performs at NHK "Magic show in the world" with Japanese style of magic. Europe performance in Paris, Monte Carlo, Vienna, and Madrid, etc. four times. "Sabatodenorches" guest of special program performance in Spain. FISM Dutch convention guest performer. Performs at casino "Campune" of Switzerland. Guest performer to Italian TV. First performer to NHK "The 39th Red and White New Year's Music Special" as a magician.
1989 - Wins "Silver Lion Award" in the Las Vegas convention. Performed for NHK "Magic show in the world". Guest performed to Northern Kyushu world convention and Tokyo world convention. Did the United States crossing lecture tour.
1990 - Program telecast of the United States performance tour and Las Vegas convention for two months in Tokyo. Canada and Montreal convention performance. "STAR OF MAGIC" guest of United States west coast performer.
1991 - Europe performance (London, Barcelona, and Milan). Spanish TV "Fantargea" performance. Las Vegas performance. ABC, KTV, and KBS performances. Encore performance with BBC "Paul Daniels show" - new act. "First annual Magic convention in Naniwa" in Osaka. telecasted it with KTV in a document program.
1992 - Europe, Britain and Italy. KTV "United States Magic memoirs". Magic Castle performance. United States "STAR OF MAGIC" encore performance. TV commercial performance for a well known cold medicine.
1993 - Performed at the German World Convention. Visited the United States four times. Invited Mr. Paul Daniel in Britain to the 50th anniversary of the Takatsuki municipal organization, and "The Second annual magic convention in Naniwa", which was telecast by KTV. Europe performance tour in the autumn.
1994 - Milan world convention performance. Italian TV performance. France continental lecture tour. FISM Yokohama convention guest performer. "Midsummer-Night's Dream" Kyoto Hotel renewal opening commemoration performance. Portuguese TV performance. London convention guest performer.
1995 - Europe performance (Milan and Barcelona). Boston SAM convention, Auckland IBM convention, and Magic Castle performance. Performs to BBC "Paul Daniels show" twice. The Michigan world convention guest performer where a special prize was received. "Magic convention at the Third Naniwa" was held and was produced for the "Magic show in the world" at the Tochigi national cultural festival 1995
1996 - Performance at the Sydney Festival in Australia. Hong Kong, South Korea, and Hawaii convention performances. Performed at the British World Convention. Performed at the "Fourth Annual Magic convention in Naniwa". KTV performance, "The Knock Is Not Needed."
1997 - Europe performances in France, Belgium, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Performed four times at the "Minneapolis World Convention." Dia a Germany continental crossing tour. Performed at the TAOM Texas convention. Performed at the "Fifth annual Magic convention in Naniwa."
1998 - Visited the United States six times. Performed wit an Italian tour. Performed at the "Sixth annual Magic convention in Naniwa". Performed at the 20th debut anniversary called "Mysterious night" by the Agency for Cultural Affairs art festival.
1999 - Performed at the British world convention. In the United states performed in New Jersey, Boston convention and Buffalo convention. Hong Kong convention, and Chinese Japanese Judas tree woods convention were also performances. In the United States performed at the "It' s Magic" sponsored by KBS.
2000 - Visited the United States six times. European tour in France and Portugal. Asian tour at Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore. Performed at the "Seventh annual Magic convention in Naniwa."
2001 - Visit to United States seven times. Orlando world convention guest performer. Shanghai convention performer. Performed at the "Eighth annual Magic convention in Naniwa."
2002 - Special show performer at TV Tokyo New Year. Visit to United States five times. "STAR OF MAGIC" encore performance. ABBOTS convention performer. Thai international game guest performer. Performed at the "Ninth annual Magic convention in Naniwa."
2003 - Performed at the South Carolina convention and local TV. British convention performer. Hong Kong convention performer. Commemoration tour of the100 times visits to United States. Performed at the "Tenth annual Magic convention in Naniwa." Performer at New York Toy Fair. Shanghai convention performer.
2004 - Performed Asian tour in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Macau. Visit to United States and Star of Magic performer in Kentucky. Canadian tour Ontario, Montreal, Quebec. Did five lectures and performed at a winter carnival. Back in the United Stated where performances at the Cleveland IBM, St. Louis SAM. Shinsen AMA convention, and Macau lecture tour. Paris TV performer. Kansai magic federation convention performer. ICM Minoo convention performer and central part magic union convention performer. Japan magic society convention producer.
