KID'S MAGIC
In this effect by Jeremy & Cheryl Poidevin you tell the children that you have drawn them a special Christmas picture, displaying a solid white silk handkerchief. You claim that it's a picture of a snowstorm! Sensing the skepticism from the crowd, you get the children to draw you a Christmas tree in the air as the handkerchief is dropped into a bag. When you remove the silk from the bag it now has the outline of a tree printed on it-but what a pity, there's no color!
Different colors collected from the children's clothing then magically appear on the tree-but what a pity, there aren't any decorations! The silk is again dropped in the bag and you start plucking little red lights out of the air, dropping them into the bag as well. When the silk handkerchief is taken out, little red stars are covering the tree!

In this effect by Samuel Patrick Smith the magician displays a black and white outline drawing of a rooftop with reindeer pulling an empty sleigh that's ready to land. A volunteer from the audience chooses several different crayons and writes his name on the sign in front of the house, then colors in the reindeer's nose and adds a little smoke coming out of the chimney. The assistant then holds the picture while everyone says the magic words. When the picture is turned around, Santa is in the sleigh and it's full of presents, complete with a Christmas tree and everything is colored in! The picture is then given to the child as a souvenir.

PEPPERMINT STICK NESTING WANDS
After performing any of his favorite effects, the performer offers a peppermint magic wand to his assisting spectator. The child takes the wand, but to everyone's surprise, the performer still has a wand in his hand! He asks the child to put the first wand under his arm and take the second wand-again the performer still has a wand in his hand!
The performer places this wand under his assistant's chin and the effect is again repeated until his helper can barely hold them all-they're under his chin, under his arms and between his legs! Five wands in all.

A wonderful and amazing feat for holiday shows from Samuel Patrick Smith! You
display a set of jumbo cards, each with a different holiday picture (candy cane,
Santa, snowman, candle, gifts, ornament, angel, etc.). Two spectators think of
any picture. You roughly sketch the pictures you think they have mentally
selected. Place your sketches on a stand, and when you reveal your drawings, you
have correctly guessed the pictures they chose!
Note: Absolutely NO artistic skill is required! (Uses the same great principle
as Samuel Patrick Smith's DEJA ZOO effect.)

In this effect by Steve Bender three jumbo (6.5" by 10.5") cards are shown to the audience. Two of the cards show pictures of smiling elves and on the third is a picture of Santa Claus. The three cards are squared up and placed inside an envelope. One of the elf cards is removed and shown on both sides and placed aside. The second elf card is also removed and shown on both sides.
After suitable byplay, the last card is also removed and the envelope shown empty. One side says Merry Christmas and when the magician turns it around, the other side says Ho Ho Ho! - where did Santa go?!
Comes complete with special giant silk-screened cards and envelope.
