KID'S MAGIC
Created by Harry Leat, Run Rabbit Run is a classic children's effect, and several models have appeared over the years, with various animation features. It is a mechanical effect, where a Rabbit placed in one house (compartment) magically travels to another. What makes this a hit with the kids is the animation of the rabbit, which is seen to run from one compartment to the other when the performer is not looking, or peep over the side of the compartment as this is being shown empty. It finally vanishes from the frame, and re-appears in the performer's pocket.
This model has some of the best features of existing models, plus more. It is a large stage size, (nearly two feet wide), suitable for use with any size audience. Sturdily made in wood, (not board) and laminated, with screened design.
There are several animation features built into this model. A rabbit can be made to appear or vanish from behind either door. It can be seen to travel from one door to the other. It can be seen to peek from behind a door. There are 4 rabbits built into the prop for the animation, plus 2 for the original vanish and reproduction.
Children's performers will find this a great addition to their repertoire. This model is an outstanding value for the money.

Magicians traditionally produce Rabbits from Top Hats, and Rabbits are traditionally white and Top Hats are black, or that is the way it used to be. Today fashion demands a little more color, and even Top Hats come in designer shades of black and red and blue and gold!
This is a nice and colorful routine for Kid show performers, with easy to carry pack flat props. The performer displays a window envelope, with the picture of a Rabbit in an outline Top Hat, which has no color. The spectators are invited to select a color for the Top Hat from a chart of different shades. When the picture is again displayed, the Top Hat is magically colored in the selected color, and the picture can be handed out for examination. And the selected Hat in the shade card has been magically replaced by a colorless outline one.
These are two clever props, blended into a nice routine. You could of course color the hat without using the card, just ask the kids to call out their favorite color ! And you could use the card to force a color for any effect. Attractively screened on Art Board, you get everything you need, with detailed instructions.

In 1987 Steve Bender first made the Rabbit Wand. Soon after he followed this with a Clown Wand. In 2003, he improved the quality of both of these wands. And now we are proud to present his third wand in the collection: The Little Magician Wand. If you want, you can now give the spectator a choice, "Would you like me to turn you into a Rabbit, a Clown Helper or a Little Magician." It's good to have options.
This is an effect that's good for a laugh and great at parties for picture taking. All you need do is let the Wand fall and aim it so that the helper's head, which fits into the hole. The Wand is 18" by 48". It was made this size so that it can easily fit inside a Suitcase Table.
In the presentation you call up a spectator or if its a birthday party, you use the birthday child. "How would you like me to turn you into a Little Magician so that you can help me with what I do next. This is going to happen so fast you'll find it hard to believe." Now take out the rolled up Little Magician Wand. "First, I'm going to touch you one time on your nose with the wand and I want you to wiggle your nose twice." (You wiggle your nose so your spectator can imitate your nose wiggle.) "Now stand tall and smile. No laughing. This is the moment of change. I shall touch you on the top of your head three times and say, "Abby, Dabby, Do." (Or whatever you wish to say.) "And then you will become The Little Magician." I lightly touch him (her) three times and then release the wand for laughs and pictures. Enjoy!
