PAPER TO HAT TEAR

Two pieces of colored tissue are torn into many pieces and crumpled together. With the wave of your hand or a magic wand, they are turned into a hat. This is an ideal effect to do for audiences of all ages. These paper tears come twelve to the package.

What makes this tear special is the cut-out of the funny face on the front of the hat.

POM-POM PRAYER STICK (INDIA)

The magician shows a Wand with four Porn-Poms at the two ends. One end has a Red and Green Porn-Pom attached to it, and the other end has a Yellow and Blue Porn-Pom attached to it. One Porn-Porn hangs down on a length of cord.

When the green pom-pom is pulled out, the red pom-pom is pulled in, as one would logically expect. But then when the yellow pom-pom is pulled out, the green pom-pom is pulled in, and when the red pom-pom is pulled out, the yellow pom-pom is pulled in, and when the blue pom-pom is pulled out, the red pom-pom is pulled in, and so on... and on... and on.

The pom-poms behave as if they were all at the end of a single string, a very special string which appears to have four ends instead of the usual two. The apparatus comes to you ready to work. By itself this is an excellent visual effect, with many comedy presentation possibilities.

CLOWN WHO LOST HIS HEAD

Credit for the basic effect goes to Milbourne Christopher. His Forgetful Freddie has become a classic effect with children entertainers, inspiring several models and clones. This model is yet another version of this effect, with a presentation theme for audiences not familiar with absent minded schoolboys!

The Performer displays a large cut out figure of a Clown, holding a balloon. He explains that Clowns are always changing their face, and sometimes, when they are changing them, they even loose them! Performer now removes the clown's head, and places it in a handkerchief (the "dressing room") to change the clown's face. However when he tries to retrieve the face from the "dressing room", it has completely vanished. After a search, (opening out the handkerchief, shaking it, and displaying both sides), he wonders what he should do.

Inspiration strikes, and the balloon from the Clown's hand is removed, and replaced in lieu of the head. Efforts are made with sketch or marker pens or grease pencil and lipstick to make the balloon head look respectable, but to no avail. The only recourse seems to be a bit of real magic!

The audience is taught the magic spell, then encouraged to shout it out aloud and all together. After one or two attempts, they get it right, and the balloon bursts, and the clown's head is back in place. We supply the complete apparatus ready to use including a Devil Handkerchief. The cut out clown just plugs in to the base.

ONE TO FOUR WANDS - BLACK

A regular magic wand multiplies to two, then three, and finally four. This is a surprising visual effect you can perform anytime during your show. We supply you the special "magic wand" responsible for the effect. The wands are approximately 13.5" inches long. As this wand resembles a regular wand, (black with white tips), you could use it as a magic wand for your other tricks.

You could just multiply the wands as a stand alone magic effect. Or you could use it as a magic touch or bit of business. At some time during your act, the magic won't happen when you wave the wand. You explain this effect requires stronger magic. Split the black wand in two - then wave with a wand in each hand, and your effect works!

Sometime later, another trick won't work. You use both wands, but it still won't work. More magic power called for ! So you split the wands again, till you have four ! You hold a wand in each hand, and two between your lips, (like a Walrus!), and wave your hands and head, which is sure to get a strong response from the kids.

Yet another use is when you have a couple of helpers on stage - ideally three kids. You need a magic wand for each of them, and one for you. No problem for you, as you rapidly split the wands, one for each helper! Ready to work, complete with instructions.
