In this effect you will look like a genius even though it takes absolutely no artistic skill. The trick is gimmick and ready to use right out of the package.

This effect works every time and we know you will enjoy it. The effect, produced by Samuel Patrick Smith, who is known for his expertise in children's magic, is great for children of all ages.

PERFORMING PACHYDERM by SAM DALAL

Jumbo, an African elephant was perhaps the most famous elephant in history.  Featured for more than 17 years in the London zoo in the 1800s, he was then purchased by Phineas T. Barnum (better known as P. T. Barnum) as a star attraction for his circus, the greatest show on earth.

Although the circus is alive and well today, many circuses no longer use performing elephants.  Sam Dalal now brings you his own version of the famous performing pachyderm. This elephant actually performs some very clever magic for everyone's delight.

The apparatus consists of a large mechanical circus elephant, holding a top hat and a giant deck of cards.  Obviously a jumbo deck of cards is what elephants use to play poker with!

The elephant will pick out one or more selective cards from a jumbo deck.  Special cards are included so that you can do other effects. Any performer can embellish the basic effect for presentation of his liking. This can be used for any type of audience.  The equipment is beautifully made and silk screened in many colors.

PAPER TO PANTS # 12

The performer displays two pieces of colored tissue paper. These are torn, and when he attempts to restore them, they have transformed into a pair of paper pants !

Perform this as a sequel to the Paper to Hat effect, (of which we have several models), and it will be a hit with the kids. Or better still make a Hat for your volunteer assistant, and make one for your self, which you absentmindedly place over your head, not realizing it is a pair of pants, and it will have them roaring with laughter.

We have made a very nice outfit, with two different designs of "pants", (one for the boys, and one for the girls, as illustrated). Each outfit has 12 ready to work sets, (6 of each type, in two different colors). If you like comedy effects, or perform for kids, you'll love this.

BOOK OF TREASURE

You flip through a book titled "The Treasure Map to the Libraries," showing a picture of a large treasure chest on each page, explaining that "The library is like a treasure chest." Next you ask the audience, "What kind of treasure you might find in the library?" When they respond "Books!" you flip through the book again. But this time the pictures have changed to books! "That's right," you say. "Books are the treasure we find in the library." You further explain that "The true treasure is the knowledge that we gain from reading the books. And the best part is it's available to everyone!" As you say this last line you begin to flip through the book again, this time showing treasure chests opened up and full of treasure.

And now for the finale: You now fold the book in half (lengthwise) and have the audience recite the magic words, "Reading is Magic!" As the magic words are said, you pour from the folded book a supply of golden coins! Great trick by Ken Scott.
