KID'S MAGIC
This box is very similar in design to the livestock vanish box where the rabbit is placed into a box, covered and a sword thrust through. When the box is opened the rabbit is gone and only the sword going through the empty box is seen by the audience. This effect which we first made for David Ginn has some great improvements.
The first improvement is the size. This box is 12" x 9" x 8 1/2" high. It is beautifully constructed to look just like a jailhouse. Instead of a sword going through the box a large key goes through. This is better especially for children who might think that the rabbit is being hurt by the sword. The rabbit can be introduced as a descendent of one of Houdini's rabbits who learned like Houdini to be an escape artist. Even when the rabbit is locked in a jail he can escape. Many other possibilities of routines including themes on crime doesn't pay, drugs are bad for you can be used. The box can be used in reverse to make the rabbit appear.

A beautiful set of pictures, one containing a parrot and the others containing three empty cages, are shown to the audience. A story is told how this elusive bird cannot be kept in any cage. One of the empty cages is placed aside and a game is begun with the children to see if they can keep track of the mischievous bird. No matter which card the children select, when it is turned over it will be an empty cage.
Eventually the cards are eliminated until only one face down card remains. When this is turned face up, to everyone's surprise it is also an empty cage and the parrot appears secured in the cage which was placed aside.
You receive the parrot cards which are beautifully silk screened in five brilliant colors and are 14" x 9" so that they can be seen even from the back of an auditorium.

SUPER FROG by SAMUEL PATRICK SMITH
Slide a picture of SUPER FROG wearing his bright red cape into an envelope and hand it to a magic helper. A second magic helper holds an empty envelope. Say the magic words and SUPER FROG will jump from one envelope to the other---or will he?
When the card is removed from the first envelope, SUPER FROG is gone. A cut out area where he used to be is all that remains. Did he jump to the other envelope? When you turned it over, there's no frog, but a little red cloth cape tumbles out! "Wherever he is, I know that SUPER FROG needs his cape!" You make the cape disappear, and the frog-wearing his cape appears on the second helper's back! Kids roar, adults laugh, SUPER FROG is a hero, and you're a super hero!

FARMER & THE RABBIT FANTASY - PLUS!
These are two super routines that blend very well together for all types of audiences! Two jumbo cards are shown, one has a picture of a rabbit and one has the picture of a farmer. They are shown front & back and magician takes one of the cards and shows it, then places it behind his back! Holding the other card face-down in his hand. The spectators see which card went behind the back yet when magi asks them which it was the farmer or the rabbit, they guess wrong every time. The cards seem to magically change at magician's will! Only the two cards are used! No sleights!
In the second part of the routine a three fold "rabbit hutch' is shown. Magician relates the story about how every time the rabbit got out in the farmyard to steal some carrots, the farmer would chase him, but could never catch him. This is because the "rabbit hutch" had magical properties. The magi demonstrates the story as he tells it, with the farmer card chasing the rabbit card. The rabbit jumps into the hutch, which is opened for everyone to see that he is there, when suddenly, right before everyone's eyes, the rabbit visibly disappears! When everyone wants to know where he went, magician points to a large envelope that has been sitting on the table, untouched, the whole time, and asks a spectator to take out the contents. Inside he finds the missing rabbit card and it can be fully inspected! You are left clean!

We first produced Spelling Bee in 1966 and have sold thousands ever since. We still carry this version of the effect where the cards are removed with the board turned around.
Now we are producing a new larger and even more fantastic effect called the Ultimate Spelling Bee. A board with seven cards, each containing a letter or blank in no particular order is shown to the audience. The cards are removed and the audience sees each space on the board empty. The board is turned around showing the audience that each space for a card has a number. The cards are handed out to a spectator to shuffle. The cards are now handed back to the magician, one at a time, and placed into the board wherever the spectator chooses.
When the board is turned around, A predetermined word is written on the board. This word can be a magic word, a birthday child's name, the name of the organization that you are doing a show for, etc. The Ultimate Spelling Bee measures 24" x 4.5".The cards measure 5" x 3". You receive over 100 letter and blank cards.
