The magician displays a mystical washer, which he claims can wash his socks without water or detergent of any kind. On the first attempt at washing his socks the magician finds that they have been shredded. After another try they are restored but they have shrunk. Then they magically combine to form red and white stripped socks. Finally the magician produces a handful of candy which is given to the gracious assistant.

An assistant from the audience is asked to join you during your performance. You ask them to put their head in a wooden cabinet that measures 15" by 15" by 12". Several colorful balloon "swords" are propelled thru the cabinet from every imaginable angle.
If the audience thinks this is baffling wait until you open the cabinet. When the front door is opened and wow - the head has vanished! Only the balloon swords are visible through the cabinet. You now close the door, remove the balloon swords an the persons head is restored. This is a great sword box without the violence of swords. Great for kid's parties as any assistant can be used.

The Monkey Bar is a popular magic effect, and there have been many versions, working on different methods, with many different presentations. We now offer you a model suitable for stage use, working on a different principle, which can be easily adapted to your individual performing preference. It eliminates the disadvantages of models working on other methods, and the effect is far more convincing.
The effect is as follows. The magi or clown shows a large wooden baton, with three cords running through it. At the end of each cord is a ball, two of which are of the same color (say red), and one a different color (say yellow). The performer demonstrates the cords run freely through the holes, and the balls are securely tied on the cords. He claims he will make the balls jump from one cord to the other. He passes the baton behind his back, and the odd colored ball jumps from one end (say left) to the other (right). The audience is not impressed, - they know you are just turning the baton around behind your back.
You repeat this once again, and even the politest member of your audience will express their disenchantment. You appear offended at not being believed, and offer to prove conclusively that the balls do jump from one cord to the other. The baton is passed behind the back once again, and when brought to the front, the odd colored ball is now tied on the middle rope, between the two similar colored ones.
The model we supply uses thick cords, and large balls, making it very visible even on a large stage. You can easily adapt the special baton for use in any of the other Monkey Bar presentations that have appeared in print. You could perform this with three large silks, two of the same color, and one of a different color. In this case the silks could be examined, then passed through the holes in the baton (with the help of a pencil or slim magic wand) and knotted on top. A very clean cut presentation, not possible with the traditional Monkey Bar You could use colored ribbons in place of the cords. Another popular presentation has a pair of linked rings from a Linking Ring set tied to two of the cords, and a single ring to the third cord. The linked rings are adjacent to each other at the start, and the single ring appears between them at the finish.
Yet another presentations involve a sponge or cloth fish at the end of one of the cords, jumping from one end to the other, and then the middle. The fish is at the end of the "fishing line". You could use any toy (a monkey, Halloween Bat, rabbit, or even rubber snakes) tied to the cords, depending on your presentation theme. Any thing that could justify the trapeze act could be built into a novel effect.
The working of the apparatus will be obvious as soon as you handle it. A single handling trial, and a little effort will make a feature item in your act.

A brilliantly painted clown house (Silk Cabby Box) is introduced with the patter, "This is the house where Bubbles the Clown lives. Lets knock on the door and see if he is home." The CD then "disappears" according to the magician, but the audience could clearly see the CD simply slid to the other side of the case...or so they thought. When the magician opens up both doors on the case the CD is nowhere to be found! The magician may then reproduce the CD from anywhere he likes...even on the back of a spectator!
