KID'S MAGIC
This effect is in the fast lanes for fun and frolic. This rapid rabbit is a classic sucker effect for any kids show. The magician shows two rabbit hutches connected by a brick wall. The hutches have two doors in front and two in the rear. A wooden panel cutout of a jackrabbit is placed in one hutch. " Now kids, if you see him run over to the other house --- don't tell me." But the rabbit runs and they tell, at full volume.
The kids always see him run. You are always behind in your rabbit catching and door opening. When you have just about outsmarted this wooden Thumper, he peeks out the side of a hutch and then zooms across to the other side. You never can catch him. He is neither "hare nor there". The kids go bananas. Finally you open all four doors and Mr. Bunny vanishes completely. He can be found lurking in your pocket, hanging on your coat, etc. An extra rabbit is included for the final reproduction.
Apparatus is 23 Inches long, 9 inches high and the rabbits are 6 1/2 inches tall. Made entirely of wood (sorry, no cardboard and printers ink here). High-gloss, lacquered in brilliant colors, and rests on a green carpeted base. First class quality.

FORGETFUL FRED by DAYTONA MAGIC
They will be in stock in about a month. They are very difficult to make and I only make a limited number. I can't afford to make them anymore. These are just some of the excuses I have heard from the people who have made different versions of this effect over the years. Also they have gone out of site with the price. We took the bull by the horns and created our own version of this prop. It stands about 22" tall and is beautifully silk screened in six colors.
Here's the story of Forgetful Fred. He was a very forgetful kid. He was always leaving things around. A real scatter-brain. His mother said to him that if his head wasn't attached to his shoulders, he'd forget that too! And, that's exactly what happened. One day, he forgot his head!
As you explain the story, you remove Fred's head, drop it in a large handkerchief (supplied) and make it disappear! Poor Fred, he has lost his head. What can you do now? Magi blows up a balloon and hooks it where his head used to be. That's a little better, but not much. Poor Fred, he can't see or talk. Magi draws a mouth, eyes, nose, ears and hair. He is still very sad and says that the other kids will call him names.
After Fred promises not to be so forgetful and with the help of some magic words the kids shout, the balloon pops and, there is Fred's head, back in place right where it belongs. A classic kids' routine.

Children's entertainers looking for a utility type prop which has 'appeal' may took no further. Here's a changing type bag like no others, with a super climax featuring a wizard theme. Add to this the fact that the bag is a hat and can be worn by both the performer and the child!
The wizard's hat is introduced, the performer explaining to the children that it belonged to a very clever wizard called Wiz-Waz. During presentations, the hat can be shown on both sides with its striking wizard designs. It can also be shown inside to be completely empty. Yet, whenever required, the performer can produce, vanish, change, switch items, including silks, balls, medallions, rings etc.
Other effects, using a Wizard theme, can be slotted into the program - linking type effects, transpositions, color changes and more! But the climax makes it really different. The performer explains that the magic was only possible because of Wiz-Waz the Wizard's hat and that, unfortunately he couldn't come along to the show today. Suddenly the hat/bag visually and quickly changes - and the children see a full size wizard's face, complete with moustache and beard wearing the wizard hat itself!!! During the routines a child can assist and if wished, the performer may allow them to wear the wizard's hat. Alternatively, the performer can place the wizard's hat on his head, pretending that the magic will work only when wearing it.
The great thing about this prop is that it packs absolutely flat, is lightweight, colorful, visual and can be seen from a distance - even in the largest room or hall. The special wizard hat has been carefully designed so it works like a flat change bag but has the added feature when being turned inside out, it becomes twice its length showing the wizard wearing the hat!

PARTY HAT by IRV COOK
This is a great kids effect, and whether you use it on yourself or an unwary assistant it will be the highlight of any holiday or birthday party. The Magician asks a young child to help him with his next trick He explains that he is going to produce a red scarf from his magic hat. He tells the child, that he has to dress up for the part, and places a clown hat on his head. "But wait!" the Magi or Clown says, "I am not supposed to do this trick at a clown party, I am supposed to do it at a birthday party!" The Magician takes the hat off of the child's head, turns it inside out and shows a beautiful birthday pattern now on the hat. "Wait a minute, it is nobody's birthday, oh, I know, it is St. Patrick's Day today!" The Magician turns the hat inside out to reveal that it is now a St. Patrick's Day hat complete with Shamrocks! Once again, the Magician tries to get back to his trick, looks at the kids and exclaims, "Oh! It's not St. Patrick's Day...It must be Valentine's Day!" He once again turns the hat inside out which now dons a Valentine's Day pattern.
The kids will be screaming and howling that it is not Valentine's Day. The Magician or Clown plays dumb, and proclaims, "If it is not those holidays, it must be Easter!" He turns the hat inside out to reveal an Easter hat. He does the same thing again to show a Halloween Hat. Finally, after so many unsuccessful attempts, the Magician turns the hat inside out to finally reveal a Christmas Hat. The silk can be produced from the Christmas Hat, by having it pre-positioned or by using a gimmick such as a thumbtip. You can manipulate the hat so that the final hat matches the appropriate holiday. If used on yourself, you can say that you had problems dressing for the show and couldn't remember what kind of a party you were attending.

The magician shows two cut out rabbits, one white and one black. They are covered with two covers, the white rabbit going into the cover with the white door, the black rabbit going into the cover with the black door. The covers are moved around, and the rabbits are found to have changed places.
This is repeated a number of times, and the audience believes they have caught on. They inform you that you are merely turning the rabbits around. Finally you turn them around and show the backs are red and green! These rabbits are beautifully silk screened and stand inches tall.
