A spectator selects MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE, or JOHN. The one chosen is always face up. A wonderful way to get into your Gospel message. The performer holds up a paper folder. Inside, he explains, are the Four Gospels, each printed on a separate card. He asks any spectator to merely think of one of the Gospels. He is not going to influence the selection in any way. The spectator is then asked to reveal his choice. The cards are removed from the folder and spread out. It is seen that one card, and one card only, is reversed and it's face is towards the audience. It is the card that the spectator chose!

This is a great close up card effect that highlights some of the Bibles most known citizens. Performer fans nine cards face up showing various Biblical characters and making a few remarks in so doing. Then he fans cards face down and has spectator take one of the cards (not forced).
Performer now begins to tell the story about a particular Bible character. When the spectator looks at his chosen card, he finds it to be the Bible character about whom the performer was speaking. The trick is a wonderful Bible storyteller and can be done over and over. Very easy to do!
