GENERAL MAGIC
This effect is so easy to do that there are no instructions. You simply remove a full pack of cigarettes from your pocket, open them up, close them and place them into a little black box. When the box is turned over it is either empty or has a silk handkerchief or other small item. I saw someone do this effect with a live pet mouse.
Great for smokers or anti-smokers alike. You can say "I got to quit!" and place the cigarettes into the box. They vanish instantly and change to a pack of gum.

A spectator from your audience is asked for a watch. The item is deposited inside a box. The box is tied with a ribbon and then all is placed within another box, which is tied with a ribbon. Both boxes are then covered with a large silk handkerchief by the magician. A watch is borrowed from another spectator and placed under the handkerchief.
The watches are now commanded to change places by the magician. When the handkerchief is removed the first watch is now outside the tied boxes and when the boxes are untied the second watch is inside.
It all happens in an instant and is very baffling. No sleight of hand is required to perform this effect.
