Basically there are two effects that can be done with this unique effect. For the first the magician out of thin air produces a long stem rose. In the second effect the magician shows both sides of a handkerchief or silk and then produces a long stem rose.
Both effects are included in the instructions with this very easy to do effect.

The Locking Control Reel is ideal for slow motion animation effects. A classic example of this is the Serpentine Silk effect, where a large handkerchief is tied with a knot, and visibly unties, making for one of the most effective routines of visual magic.

Now with video instruction! Here's a great way to inject comedy into a silent routine, or works well with patter. Tie two knots in a 27" silk handkerchief. One by one, you grasp the knots and pull them off the silk! When the silk is opened out, there's a big surprise as two holes are seen in the silk!
You can follow this up with a dove production from the silk, a fire bowl production, or perhaps drop the silk and knots into a Blendo bag and transform them into a large silk. Just use your imagination.
