The bill is folded and placed into a small drawstring bag, which is given to the spectator to hold. You now introduce some large plastic coated cards. Spectator selects a card, which is placed in full view of the audience. You show the other cards: They could have won a computer system, $10,000, a trip to Europe, etc. They get one final choice: Keep their money or go for the selected prize on the card.... They go for the card.

A wand is placed through a hole in a block. After this is done a few times the wand disappears by about 80% into the block. The wand is now extracted from the block and is restored to its original length. The spectators actually see the wand melting into the block. It is a very baffling illusion, yet with this mechanical device it is very easy to do.
