THE GROWING BALL OUTDONE by GOSH
Here it is, a great effect that actually outperforms a classic effect. When Al Goshman created the Growing Ball many years ago, it became a standard finale for a sponge ball routine. After doing a standard routine, the last ball was changed into a giant 4" ball. Now with the addition of The Growing Ball Outdone you have a double whammy for your finale or an effect that can stand on its own.
Black and red, 2" sponge balls are shown to the spectators. They are both placed into your hand, and instantly, the black sponge ball breaks up into numerous tiny black sponge balls and the red sponge ball grows into a large 4" sponge ball. This can be done in a spectator's hand with a little handling. Wonderful and very easy to do.

The Silver Cascade makes a beautiful magic production in any type of magic act. Performer holds his empty (?) hand palm down and endless silver, gold or multi-colored ribbon flows out of his hand. The exact use can vary according to your individual preference.
Pretend to produce some invisible object from any production prop. Hold it between your hands, and turn your hands over, the silver ribbon cascades down. Tear a piece of paper, then blow off the bits, turn your hand around and have the ribbon appear. Use it as an opener or closer, - the effect is extremely appealing, and bound to draw a round of applause.
The ribbon makes a considerable heap when produced. (Each ribbon is 90 feet long). You can pick up this heap of ribbon and use it as a cover for an additional production of a Dove, bunch of silks, bottle of Beer, or anything similar. The ribbon gives the cover for stealing the load from your body or from behind the back of a table or assistant’s back, etc.
The apparatus supplied comprises of a special holder/winder, and three ribbon coils (one silver, one gold and one multi-colored). Each coil has 90 feet of ribbon on it. You can use any one of the ribbons with the holder. If you wish to use this with a coil falling from both hands, or more than once in your act, you would need to use additional holders.

Performer places a silver colored CD in a frame with a cut-out. The audience can see the CD right through the frame both front and back. With a snap of his fingers the magician instantly and visibly causes the CD to change color. The CD is removed from the frame, now in an entirely different color. This is repeated with two other silver CDs which are visibly changed to two other colors.
The props are made with real CD's (Compact Disks) which are very popular today. This effect is similar to the popular Color Changing Records, but works on a different principle. The compact size enables you to handle the change in a very snappy and effective manner.

This effect is a take off on the famous Ball to Square by Al Goshman. Whereas the Ball to Square changes a red sponge ball to a red sponge square and a black sponge ball, the effect changes two very large sponge balls into a large sponge die. The die is 6 inches cubed.
The two large sponge balls vanish instantly in front of the spectator's eyes.
