This effect has become a very popular one with magicians ever since David Copperfield presented it on one of his TV spectaculars. It is the visual and incredible penetration of a borrowed note or bill by an ordinary pencil with everything performed in front of the spectator's eyes.
In effect, the performer borrows a note. This is placed over a piece of paper of the same size and creased in half. A pencil is pushed through the note and the paper. The crease is opened out, and the audience can see the pencil going right through the borrowed note and the paper from both sides. The pencil can now be pulled away, ripping through the note and paper at the crease.
Yet when they are opened out again, the ordinary paper is found to be ripped as one would expect, but the note is in tact and totally unharmed. The entire effect is so clean and convincing that the audience can't believe their eyes. Yet it is quite easy to perform, requiring only a few handling trials on your part.

This is a compact, sturdy, and very economical model of the classic Mirror Production Box. A very effective Production box in the form of a cube with a door in front, and another door on top. Both doors are opened allowing the audience to see right into the box and through it. The doors are closed, and many silks, decorations, flowers and fruits, or even a couple of doves are produced from the empty box.
This model measures approx. 8" on all sides, and is made in a beautiful white laminate. The item is very useful for trade shows. Just put a decal of the company logo on the doors, and produce their products. Use it for kid shows, club shows, or any act which requires a production. The design of the box permits you to produce a very large load.

Two rubber balls that look alike, have the same feel and squeeze act entirely different from one another when they are bounced. One ball bounces like an ordinary ball and the other does not bounce at all. This is accomplished because of the type of rubber they are constructed from. There are countless gags and tricks that can be performed with these balls.
My favorite effect is to call a kid on the stage and tell him you are going to give him the opportunity to win a $20.00 bill. You bounce the "bounce" ball a few times showing that it bounces. You then tell him that if he can make the ball bounce from the floor to past the top of your head the bill is his. Of course you secretly switch the balls and give him the "no-bounce" ball. No matter how hard he throws the ball on the ground, it won't bounce but an inch or two. Very funny! I usually give the kid a consolation prize of a jumbo bill to make him feel good after being a little embarrassed.
These balls are 1 inch round and made from black rubber. They are almost twice the size of the bounce no bounce balls that were on the market years ago and will be seen in larger audiences.
