This is a new version of the well known Finger-Guillotine. You will notice two improvements: The guillotine is transparent, so there is no visible preparation.
The guillotine is examinable! You can hand it out for examination! The combination of both features is absolutely new and sensational!
Performance: You can first demonstrate by cutting two small objects in both holes of the guillotine. The objects can be paper strips, carrot pieces, or cigarettes. You prove herewith the normal function of the chopper. Now you can hand out the chopper for examination. The blade is locked in both positions. Also magicians who know the old principle cannot reveal the secret.
Next you show the action of the cutting of both objects! Now you ask a spectator to push his finger through the upper hole. You place a cigarette through the lower hole. Now is the time to make your show! Before slamming the slider down, you tease the spectator in an amusing way! The spectator is anxious and thinks he might loose his finger!
Now you push the slider down in a fast motion. The blade will "penetrate" the finger of the spectator, while the object in the lower hole is cut! Now you can hand out the Chopper once more for examination.

The magician produces a number of silk handkerchiefs from a metal tube which has previously been shown empty. This is a wonderful effect which can be done completely surrounded stage or close up.
There are other effects which can be done with the phantom tube such as the production of money, ribbons or streamers. Both ends of the tube can be covered with tissue paper and have a flashlight shine through it a moment before the production of the silks.

The Drawer Box is one of the oldest production props ever devised and has survived over the decades, because of it's simplicity, and ease of operation. It is one of the very few production props capable of holding a load almost as large as the visible prop.
Drawer Boxes come in all shapes and sizes, from miniature ones for coins and cigarettes, to a huge Circus Ring size, for producing bears, or a bevy of beauties ! This Clear Drawer Box, based on an idea by Ian Adair is an attractive prop, with clear see through drawer sides, that make it appear very innocent. It is suitable for use with small livestock, puppets, or any production items that will fit in the box.
A convenient and handy size, (6" x 4" x 3"), with a load capacity of about the same size, the box will hold small birds, chicks, a guinea pig, several white mice, or a small bunny. With inanimate objects, or special compressible! production goods, the production can be very large. Clear see-through sides of drawer reinforce the illusion, when loaded box is shown as empty.
Ian says he likes the Clear Drawer box for his Kid show routines, to produce a puppet. The box could be shown empty, and you claim it is home for your invisible magic assistant, who only appears when you really need him. Produce the puppet, have him help you in a routine, like finding a card you cannot find, then replace in box and have it vanish. You could check box after every trick, (a running gag), and it is empty. Then a little later it appears again, to help you with another trick, that seems to be going wrong! We cannot think of any other Production Prop that can be worked surrounded under all conditions, holds such a large load in proportion to it's size, and is so easy to work with. No wonder it has survived over the decades as a prop every Magician must have.

On the magician's table there is a large five inch die, a cylindrical tube and a square tube. The magi shows the die on all six sides to be solid. He then puts it on a stand that is also on the table. He takes the square tube and puts it over the dice. He then picks up the cylindrical tube and puts it on the top of the dice. He forcibly pushes the cylindrical tube onto the dice.
The magi now takes the square tube and shows it empty to the audience. The cylindrical tube is also removed revealing a solid die that is the same shape as the cylindrical tube. The solid die can be examined. What you have done is distort the rules of physics by reducing the size of a five inch cube to a cylinder half its size.
