COCKTAIL CONFUSION

cocktail.jpg (9305 bytes)

Magician shows four different cards bearing names of four different drinks. He hands over a sealed envelope containing a prediction to the spectator. Then he deals the four cards on the table separately. The spectator selects one card. Magician asks the spectator to see the prediction card. He is surprised on opening the prediction because it reads Milk, which was not one of the drinks. He is then asked to turn over his selected card. Surprise - it matches the prediction! This is a wonderful effect. Everything you need to perform the effect is supplied. Also included in the effect is a great routine by Sam Dalal. Use this as a great table-hopping effect.

MAGIC PHOTO FRAME

Magic Photo Frame.jpg (13201 bytes)

This is a clear frame with opaque flaps that cover the front and back of the frame. Some very clever effects are possible with this apparatus.

You can show the frame clearly empty, close it, then open it again to have a playing card or picture magically appear inside the frame. Or you can start with a picture inside the frame, close the frame, and then open it again to show the picture has vanished completely.

Yet another type of presentation can involve showing a card or picture in the frame and having it change to an entirely different card or picture. The combinations possible will permit you to perform many different routines with this handy prop. Complete instructions are supplied, which include suggestions for possible effects.

REPEAT BEAD COCKTAIL

repeatbead.jpg (14829 bytes)

Credit for the original effect goes to the late Tan Hock Chuan of Singapore. In effect, the performer displays three glasses with three different colored beads. The beads are shown to be loose and separate. The beads from one glass are poured into another and thoroughly mixed. The audience can clearly see the mixed beads of two different colors.

The performer places the glasses behind his back for a moment and brings them to the front. The mixed beads of the two different colors have magically separated in the two glasses. This is repeated once again with the third color and one of the other colors. Once again the beads are mixed and magically separated in an instant. You are supplied with all the apparatus complete and ready-to-work. Another great effect.

ASTONISHING RICE JAR TRICK

This is an amazing demonstration that Barrie Richardson has brought to life once again as featured in his newest book, "Act Two."

People who have witnessed this stunt can recall it many years later. How many card or coin tricks fall into this category? How many stage illusions are this memorable?

The plot, like most good magic, is uncomplicated as an ordinary glass jar is filled to the brim with ordinary rice. A chopstick (or wooden letter opener) is inserted a few inches into the vessel, and when the chopstick is lifted, the heavy rice-filled vessel is suspended. How can this be?

The vessel is then lowered, the chopstick removed, and the rice poured out in a long dramatic stream. Everything is normal. There are no gimmicks - no magnets, wires, hidden supports, etc.

Comes complete with Barrie's detailed instructions and chopstick. You can use virtually any jar and grain (not included).
