CANDLE FLASH CANE by JUAN MAYORAL
A huge ball of fire appears above a candle flame, and in the center of the flash, a cane appears! This is not dangerous. The fuel used is lighter fluid. The effect is really spectacular: the ball of fire that appears has a diameter of over 3 feet! You receive all the material necessary, including the special candle and cane.

In this effect a strip of red tissue paper is burned in front of an audience and as the flame falls to the floor, the ashes from the paper rise and turn into a restored piece of tissue or a red silk handkerchief. The following patter can be used. "According to an ancient religion the spirit will live forever in a new form. The body is placed on a funeral pyre on the banks of the sacred River and the devoted followers gather to put a torch to the pyre."
At this point you drape the red paper across your index finger of your left hand and allow ends to hang down. You pick up a pack of matches and ignite the lower ends of the red paper. You permit it to burn until about 2/3s of it is consumed in the flame. You drop it off your fingers and it will sink toward the floor but then it will begin to rise.
"As the body is consumed, the ashes rise toward the heavens and the spirit takes on a new form forever."
All eyes will follow the ashes as you are saying this. You wait for the ashes to descend so you can reach out for them with your right hand. Collecting the ashes you tuck them into your left hand and reproduce the red silk handkerchief.
We supply the red silk handkerchief, enough tissue to do the trick many, many times, a secret gimmick plus full instructions.
There are other applications for this effect. It can be used wherever you want to destroy something and reproduce it. Instead of the handkerchief a new strip of unburned tissue can be used.

In this effect it is seen that fire is coming out from inside a cloth bag. Suddenly the fire vanishes and a dove comes out from the bag. The bag is then opened to show that there is nothing inside.
Another presentation is where a dove is placed into the bag which is then lit on fire. After the fire burns for a few seconds it is extinguished and the bag ripped open. A white silk handkerchief flies out as if the dove was changed into a silk.

COLOR CHANGING CANDLE TO FLOWERS
The performer displays a lit candle, (say red) on a candle stand. A narrow tube is now placed over the candle, (with the flames showing over the top) then lifted, and the candle has magically changed to a different color, (say White).
This color changing effect can be repeated if you wish. Finally a cap is placed over the tube to extinguish the flame. When the tube is now lifted, the candle has transformed to a flower bouquet.
Besides the effect above, you could also use the same apparatus for performing the standard Candle To Flowers effect, where a lit candle covered with a tube changes to a bouquet of flowers. Complete with powder coated non rusting metal props as above.
If you buy two of these you can do a passé passé effect.

There are other similar magic effects where a lit candle is passed through a number of silks threaded through a tube. This version is exceptionally clean and convincing, with the added advantage that all the apparatus can be freely handled by a spectator and thoroughly examined.
The performer displays a pair of Nesting Tubes, with two pairs of holes across each tube, and a pair of silks. The silks are pushed through the holes, crisscrossing each other, and apparently filling the entire inside of the inner tube. A lit candle is now passed through the tube, apparently going right through the silks. The silks are removed and shown to be completely unharmed All the apparatus can be immediately handed over to a spectator for examination.
This comes complete with two silks and tubes and detailed instructions. You can use any candle.
