FEATHER FLOWERS
The magician shows a bouquet of flowers. Holding it between his hands, he splits it into two bouquets, each of which is as large as the original bouquet. This can be used as a "quick trick" by itself, or for a touch of added magic in conjunction with any flower routine, or production. For example, when producing flower bouquets from a production prop like a Mirror Box or Square Circle Production outfit, you produce one of these bouquets. Two assistants step forward to receive it from you and you are perplexed as to which one should get it. A touch of magic is the obvious solution, and you magically split or multiply the bouquet into two, handing one to each assistant.
The same idea can be used for a solo performance, in which case there would be two vases to receive the two bouquets. You place it in one, then the other as if contemplating which makes a better display. You finally split it in two - one for each vase. You could also use it as a quickie effect. An assistant hands you a bouquet, which you instantly multiply to two and hand back to the assistant. Very easy to do. Beautifully made.
