F.I.S.M. ACT by JOHN CORNELIUS
John Cornelius is one of the most creative magicians in the world and the first American to win a F.I.S.M. World Championship of Magic competition (First Place in Close-Up, 1979). In 1985 he decided to enter the card division and once again won first place. For that competition he designed a very special act titled "Every Card Trick In The World In Under Ten minutes."
On this DVD John performs and teaches the multiphase act that is full of startling and visual card magic. You will learn the entire act in great detail as he teaches you how to construct the props, setup the act and perform all the effects and techniques.

Routines performed and explained
Super Card Rise: Three cards are selected and returned to the deck. The deck is placed in a drinking glass and the three cards rise out of the deck one at a time.
The Nip Clip (Baby Boom): Four coins simultaneously penetrate through the center of the table.
Vanishing Cigarette (Smoke Free): A lit cigarette cleanly vanishes after being placed in your hand. Magically it appears sticking out of your mouth.
Pocket Rocket Aces: Four Aces are lost in different parts of the deck as they individually disappear and appear in your pocket. As kicker ending the entire deck ends up in your pocket while the final ace is left in your hand.
Harry Anderson's Sliding Knot: Two pieces of rope are tied. The knot in between them is now slid back and forth on the rope and then untied.
Impromptu Ghost Trap: A solid object apparently materializes under a handkerchief.
On The Tip Of My Tongue: A card is selected and lost in the deck. The deck is placed in you jacket pocket. You turn your back to the audience as you name the card. When you turn back the card is seen hanging from your lips.
Silver/Copper Miser's Dream: Four silver coins are produced and tossed into your palm. When your fist is opened all the coins are shown to have changed into copper coins.
Marked: John's popular packet trick where four cards turn face up, change back color and finally have marked backs.
Three-Ball Routine (Jawbreakers): Three balls are dumped out of a box. The balls all vanish and appear back in the box.

Routines performed and explained
Smokeless: A borrowed cigarette is lit and the match is vanished. The cigarette is now placed into your fist and it too completely disappears.
The Bantam-Weight Card: A peeked at card is found and shrunk into a miniature of itself. Upon waving your hand on the miniature card it grows back to its original size.
Marked Off-Color: A deck is described as marked when a spectator cuts to a card that you name by looking at it's back. To prove that the card was actually marked it is now shown as the only red backed card in the blue backed deck.
The Miser's Cornucopia: A borrowed dollar bill is rolled into a cone and ten dimes are poured out of it.
The Operator: A multi-phase Monte themed routine using coins and bills. It begins with two copper coins repeatedly changing place with a single silver coin and segues into a bill transposition routine where a one-dollar bill repeatedly changes places with a five dollar bill under impossible conditions.
New Sponge & Sleeve: A sponge ball repeatedly
vanishes and appears in the spectator's sleeve.
Elbow Coin Vanish: A stunt is shown where a stack of coins is balanced on your
elbow as you toss and you catch them. Upon repeating the stunt all the coins
amazingly vanish.
Red & White: Roger's famed handling for the color-changing handkerchief routine where a red handkerchief repeatedly changes into a white handkerchief during a sucker/exposure sequence.
