COMEDY MAGIC
A watch is shown and verified to be in perfect shape. The performer then does the unthinkable, by slamming the face of the watch down on the edge of a table. When the watch is turned over the crystal is horribly shattered. Retrieving a small cloth, the performer begins to polish the damaged face of the watch. The crystal is shown to be completely repaired and the watch and cloth are handed out for examination.

Have them rolling in the aisles! A spectator selects a card and is asked to stare at it while you attempt to "read their mind". In the meantime, you take out your Y2K magic wand (actually a telescoping silver wand with a mirror on it). Tell them to concentrate while you try to get good reception. You extend the wand, turning it into an "antenna". Now you place it behind their head and draw them in close for a better transmission. For the first time everyone but your spectator can see the attached mirror.
You try to get a clear view of the card. Everyone is laughing hysterically except for your spectator. Your spectator will be curious as to why they are laughing. Your volunteer will try to turn around and see what you are doing but you will always be one step ahead of them. After the laughter subsides, you show that the back of the mirror has a label printed with the chosen card! This is a very funny bit that is a sure fire hit!

In this effect by Josh Gair a bottle of Spring water is introduced to the audience. The magi or MC points to it and says, ":Spring Water." As he says this, a Slinky type spring drops from the bottom of the bottle.
This is a very funny sight gag and to be sure you will get a lot of mileage out of it.

The apparatus supplied comprises of the specially made "Clatter Box", and two identical silks. In the effect the performer displays a small box. It is opened, and seen to be filled with a large silk. The silk is removed from the box, which is closed and given to a spectator to hold. The silk is now vanished, and the performer claims it will re-appear in the box. The spectator is asked to open the box. However 'when the spectator tries to open the box, it breaks and clatters to the floor in pieces, with the spectator left holding just the top of the box. And attached to the top is the vanished silk.
The effect is an excellent comedy item suitable for kid shows, clown and circus acts, or any magic act with an emphasis on humor.
