COMEDY CUP AND SAUCER by MORRISSEY
Magician displays a cup and saucer set. Liquid (tea, coffee, cola, etc.) is poured into the cup and the saucer is placed on the magician's table. Performer walks forward to the footlights and tosses the contents of the cup at the audience but to their surprise a shower of confetti appears!
There are many other effects, which are possible with the comedy cup and saucer. Such as, liquid to confetti, liquid to silk, a sponge ball routine, cola to clear liquid, liquid to mouth coil. Performer has a girl step forward, then shows two fancy handkerchiefs and ties them together at the top corners. He has the girl hold them between her cupped hands against her chest. The performer takes hold of the lower hanging corners and states that he will pull the tied handkerchiefs through the girl's body. As he counts one, two, two and a half, three, he pulls the handkerchiefs. Instead of the silks going through the girl's body you now have a brassier tied between them. The girl's face will be red.
