Three solid pieces of brass are examined and assembled by a spectator into a small tube. Four coins are placed into the tube. They are stopped by the center brass. CRACKERJACK LOVE by RONALD J. DAYTON
This is one of the most unique and visual coin effects created in recent years. A coin, proven to be solid, and shown on both sides, instantly changes in to a ladies finger-ring complete with raised gemstone. The ring is on her finger as your empty hand moves aside. This is a marvelous effect for the close-up worker. Its appeal to the women in your audience is powerful. The patter is romantic, and brings to mind memories of more innocent times.
The presentation has an inter-active approach. It is strong, visual magic. The patter for the effect is based on a theme of childhood memories. A nickel is held at the fingertips of your right hand. You reflect upon how, when you were very young, a little girl caught your eye. It was your first case of 'puppy love', and what was a boy of nine to do? All you had to your name was a nickel, but you wanted so badly to buy her a gift, something to show her how you felt. As you explain this, you ask a lady in your audience to assist. She is to play the role of the beautiful little girl. You ask her to extend her left hand, with fingers slightly apart. You grasp her ring finger between your first finger and thumb. Three times your right hand moves back and your left releases its hold of her hand.
You tell her that the only thing you could afford to buy was a box of Cracker-Jacks. Your hopes and dreams of impressing the little girl hinged upon the secret prize inside. Would it be enough to win the girl who had captured your heart? Asking for the spectator's hand once again, you say that it would, if something magical happened. On the verbal count of three your right hand moves forward as if to tap the coin on the end of her finger. Your left hand moves aside, and a moment later the right hand lifts from hers to reveal a gemstone ring upon her finger.
This is a wonderful effect, which works very easily. The machining for the effect is dynamic.

THE PIN-I-TRATED COIN by RONALD J. DAYTON
A borrowed quarter is visibly penetrated by both bars of a closed safety pin. Coin and pin are then offered for examination. Upon their return, the pin is removed and undamaged and the coin is returned to its owner.
Pin may be given as a memento if so desired. At the start, magician asks if the audience is familiar with the term Pin Money. He states that he happens to have some with him. He tosses several folded bills on to the table. The packet of bills is seen to be secured with a size 3 safety pin. A member of the audience is asked to remove the pin, close it and place it and the bills back on the table. Performer now asks for the loan of a quarter. The coin is laid on the table near the safety-pin.
Performer openly picks the pin up. The borrowed quarter is held at its edges and the end of the pin is tapped against the coin. On the third tap, the pin seems to penetrate the quarter held at fingertips. As your hand moves aside it is seen to be empty and the coin in the other hand is now seen to have the pin cleanly penetrating it. Penetrated coin and pin are immediately returned to the table for examination.
You got to see it to believe it. Easy to do! Many other routines can be done with this unique coin.

Four coins are used in this effect, a penny, a nickel, a dime and a quarter. All four coins are placed into a spectator's hand and he is asked to close his fist. The spectator sees all four coins as he closes his hand. When he opens his hand the dime has changed to less then half its original size. All the magic happens in the hand of the spectator.
You can make up a story about the different elements of coins and when they are combined with the heat of a persons hand the molecules of one coin can magically leave that coin. Ask the spectator to concentrate on the dime. Another patter might be a lesson on Inflation. Forty-one cents in days gone by was worth more than today. At the end of the effect show your 'Inflation' dime. There are many other effects possible with these versatile coins.

Or this? Show a small purse frame. Drop a coin into the frame and it visibly vanishes! This looks so amazing, you will watch yourself do it over and over again in the mirror. And, you will stand there and smile!
And this. Show both hands empty. In a blink, a Half Dollar appears. Suddenly the coin vanishes, leaving your hands totally empty!
Even this. Show a wine bottle and a Half Dollar. Tap the coin on the bottom of the bottle. Instantly the coin is inside the bottle, and your hands are completely empty! Wow!
What is this miracle device? Without going into all the details, it is based on a very old principle, never used this way before. Suffice it to say the coin is hidden right in plain view, yet is invisible to the eyes of the spectators.
