COIN MAGIC
Of all the coins made the expanded half or quarter has to be one of the most difficult to manufacture. The inventor of this coin to my knowledge is Connie Hayden who lives only a few miles from our shop. I read his notes on how these coins are made and I wonder how they can be made for such a low price.
Each coin has to be constantly heated and cooled to actually make the metal "grow". There are many effects that you can do with this unique coin. Remember this is a half-dollar or quarter shell that will fit over a normal half-dollar or quarter. The coin comes complete with a routine for "COINS THROUGH THE TABLE". Please state whether you want heads or tails.

Wait till your audience sees this one! Magician places a half-dollar onto his open empty hand. His fingers close around the coin for a moment and open again. To everyone's surprise, the half-dollar has changed into a brass washer! The washer is tossed from hand to hand, then handed out for examination!

A glass is shown along with a small ball and a half-dollar size coin. A silk handkerchief is shown and placed on top of the glass. The coin and the ball are dropped into the handkerchief in the glass. The spectator is asked to choose either the ball or the coin. By the time the spectator can make his choice, the coin and the handkerchief are seen to penetrate the bottom of the glass.
You are supplied with a special glass which has a slot cut into the bottom. Also you receive a silk handkerchief, a Ping-Pong ball, and an English penny.

In this effect two nickels are examined by a spectator. The magician then balances one nickel on the other's edge in his wide-open hand (no palming, no kidding)! Everything is examinable before and after.
You will be supplied with two gimmicked nickels. You pull the change from your pocket, remove the nickels, and hand them to a spectator for examination. Take the nickels and rub them together for a few seconds. Then place the nickels edge-to-edge and magically balance one nickel on the other.
After displaying the balanced nickels in your right hand, dump off the top nickel onto your left palm by tilting your right hand downwards. This shows the audience that there is nothing holding the nickels together. Everything is clean and your spectators will be amazed.
