TWENTY-ONE CENT TRICK

twentyonecent.jpg (12105 bytes)

When properly presented, this is one of the cleverest of coin tricks! Four coins are shown on a table or desk. They are two nickels, a penny and a dime. The total value is twenty-one cents. The magician picks up one coin at a time and places them into the palm of his left hand. He counts the value of each coin as it is placed into the palm, until all coins or a total of twenty-one cents are in the palm.

He now removes a nickel from his hand and places it into his right pants pocket. He closes his left hand over the "remaining coins" and asks how much is left. The answer should be sixteen cents. However, when the fist is opened, the sixteen cents are gone! He then removes the nickel from his pants pocket and it may be freely examined.

This effect come in two styles.  The first style is a locking version where all the coins lock together.  It comes with a "bang ring" to dislodge the coins.  In the second version the coins are loose fitting.  This is the original way the trick was invented.  Please state which version you prefer.

COIN THRU HAND

A quarter is borrowed from the spectator and placed on the back of the magician's hand. The beautiful brass atomizer is placed over the quarter and when the magic knob is turned, the quarter penetrates right through the magician's hand! The quarter is returned to the spectator and everything can be completely examined! This effect is amazing!

Totally Baffling, Easy to Perform, Must Be Seen To Be Believed.

COIN PENETRATION TUBE

coinpentube.jpg (12549 bytes)

Four borrowed coins pass one by one through a solid playing card. You are supplied with a plastic tube (in two pieces) and a playing card. After everything has been examined, the card is placed as a barrier between the two halves of the tubes and they are clamped together. All of the quarters are dropped into the tube and you then show how they will all fall out, one at a time, when you turn the tube over.

Every time the tube is turned over a quarter passes through the card. This is a very baffling effect of a solid passing through a solid. Stories can be told about famous magicians such as David Copperfield walking through the wall of China. We know you will enjoy this easy to do card and coin effect.

HOLE IN YOUR HEAD by IRV COOK

holehead.jpg (10777 bytes)

This is a hilarious effect where the magi has a nickel sticking to his forehead. He asks a spectator if he can do the same. Most people will think that this is accomplished by sweat causing the coin to stick. The magi removes the coin and hands it to a spectator, but wait, the coin has a large nail soldered to it. Very funny!
