ACROSS THE SEA by PHILING COOKTON

accrosea.jpg (30875 bytes)

Simplicity itself explains this addition to your Scotch & Soda Routine. We have fooled magicians.

You tell how England and USA are across the sea. Many things are common such as our language. Many things are different, like our money. Big copper coins only worth a penny compared to an American half-dollar. You now explain that if the English penny were an American coin it would not have been made of copper, but silver.

As you say this, the copper English coin becomes bright silver as it is passed beneath the American half-dollar. At the end of the routine both coins can be handed out for examination. We supply you with a specially made chrome plated, cut down English penny and complete instructions.

COIN TRAY

The coin tray is a "classic" of magic. Numerous routines are possible with the aid of the cleverly designed prop. One of the many effects workable with this prop is where the performer counts a number of coins onto the tray. These are poured into an empty hat. But when the coins are counted they have multiplied in number.

The tray is great for a simple Miser's Dream or Bank Night. It is adaptable to many coin and bill effects and is also a useful aid for the mentalist! It is approximately 6.5" in diameter, manufactured in heavy chrome that really looks beautiful. Complete with routine.

VAULT VISION

A spectator is given three coins, a penny, a nickel and a dime, plus a small box which you (the magician) explain is the Vault. When you turn your back, the spectator places any coin inside the vault and closes the door. He than takes the higher value coin in the right hand and the last coin in the left hand. When you turn around, you can instantly tell the spectator which coin is where. Could it be telepathy? Vault-Vision is truly amazing. The magician never touches the box, does not have to examine it closely, or resort to any other of the usual means to accomplish this trick. Vault-Vision is state of the art magic.
