CLOSE-UP MAGIC
This is John Fedko's spot card effect where four red spot cards and four black spot cards mysteriously remain together despite the obvious intermixing of the colors. John walks you through the routine step by step. You need to be able to do an Elmsley count, however it is a relatively easy to do effect.
If you know John Fedko, you know this is a quality effect, which is very professional looking. Special printed Bicycle cards are used.

This rubber band effect will blow you away. Two regular rubber bands are freely shown. If you wish, you can perform any of the standard penetration effects first. You now make a series of shapes using the two bands. First a five point star, then a triangle, then a triangle inside a second triangle, finally a five-point star inside another five point star, this looks amazing.
The fingers are removed so one band simply hangs from the other band. You twang the hanging band and this band VISUALLY changes shape into a five-point star. You will not believe your eyes. The SAME TWO bands are now handed out for examination. One band really is star shaped. Trust me, this gets the most wonderful reaction.

This is a dandy pocket trick. A solid steel ball and a metal tube made from brass are examined and found to be unprepared. The performer places the ball on top of the tube where it rests. This is natural since the ball is larger than the diameter of the tube. At the performer's command, the ball slowly and visibly sinks down into the tube, then up and down repeatedly. Complete failure follows the attempts of the spectators to duplicate the feat, or to discover the secret.
What makes this ball and tube mystery the best is the fact that it has a locking feature which allows you to immediately hand out the apparatus. There is also a "switch" tube that can be used to leave with a spectator for a long time. Comes complete with a zippered case made of velveteen.

A cocktail olive vanishes and appears under a bar jigger, even though no one asked to see such a thing. Just when the spectators are feeling confident about passing this "sobriety test," a cork is found inside the jigger. Their senses are then assaulted by the surprise appearance of a second cork! You've taught an important lesson on the responsibilities of drinking--leaving them educated as well as entertained, and for one fleeting magical moment, all is right in the world.

A small black vinyl case is introduced, and the spectators are told that inside is a prediction. Two cards are selected by a spectator and placed onto the table. The prediction case is opened, and brass discs are taken out and handed to a spectator. One disk has a square embossed on it, and the other has a circle. The spectator is asked to place a disk on each card. The performer reaches into the vinyl case and produces two cards that match the two that the spectator picked. The two cards have a large square and circle cut into them, which matches the spectator's choice. The card case can be shown empty.
